3 out of 5 eggsWorked for 9 months

Pros: Worked Beautifully for about 9 months. No problems whatsoever until recently.

Cons: In the last month or so I've been noticing red, white, blue, and green pixels appear against dark backgrounds such as a black html or xml web page, as well as graphical glitches playing games such as World of Warcraft.

This happens on both my LCD and CRT monitors. I did a little digging and found that there were a lot of other people having the same problem with this particular video card. It seems to be a defect in the cards causing it.

Other Thoughts: On an evga forum someone posted that this was a problem with the first release of this card and has since been resolved.

In the RMA process right now.

4 out of 5 eggsArtifacts at stock speed

Pros: Great price. 512MB memory reported to be of the 1.2NS variety. should give the 7900GTX a run for its money

Cons: Mine was DOA. Bad artifacts in almost all games with the latest stable nvidia drivers.. I'm an X1900XTX owner now so I can't comment on the replacement. I got a refund and I'm VERY happy with my Sapphire X1900XTX for one a little more money.

Other Thoughts: Thanks NewEgg for the prompt and hassle free refund on the DOA card! And the deal on the new ATI card was Awesome too.. X2 for New Egg.

1 out of 5 eggsImpressive specs, depressive performance

Pros: Newegg got this card to me way faster than I could have hoped. The other reviews and specs of this card had me very excited.

Cons: Card seems incompatible with my system, although nothing on the packaging indicated so. Windows would start to boot, but the loading screen would never show and the card would lock up. Tried getting help from EVGA's tech support who recommended I update my BIOS. After having done so and trying some other tests mentioned on Usenet, I sent an update to tech support and never heard back. I'm tired of waiting, so I'm sending this card back.

Other Thoughts: I wish this card had worked for me, it looked really good. Now I've wasted money because I've had to send it back.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: It's an eVGA, it has 512 Meg VRAM, it was less than three bills, everywhere else had it for just shy of four. It comes with a free game. And Newegg is selling it.

Cons: It does not have video in.

Other Thoughts: If you are reading this wondering whether you should have bought this two weeks ago, then you missed the boat.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat video card

Pros: This video card will handle anything, i get no lag what so ever on all games including cs... With developer on i got up to around 400 fps.. i play on 100 fps, but im giving you an idea on how much fps you can get. Ive owned this for about a week and i see that i get black boxes around people when i shoot them in cs, but i contacted EVGA support and they were great( and were american!!! :) they told me i need to wait for nvidia to come out with a new firmware update. GET THIS CARD.

Cons: zero.
