3 out of 5 eggsGet the GT or the 512 g92

Pros: Will run newer games at decent frame rates. DX10 Ready.

Cons: Heat issues, this card runs hot even with the bulky cooling system it has on it.

Dont get this card if you plan on running 22" widescreen moniter. It will kill your FPS.

I ended up stepping up (thank you evga) to the 512 8800GTS and its running my dual 22" widescreens without losing FPS.

PRICE- this price is so high when the better g92 cards are our there for the same or lower.

Other Thoughts: DONT DO IT, get the other models.

5 out of 5 eggsbeautiful picture

Pros: The picture is a lot better than my older card. It has decent fps.

Cons: the gt has better fps than the gts.

Other Thoughts: cant wait until they make a card that can play crysis at very high setings

2 out of 5 eggsFew Pros when it comes to the Cons

Pros: High desktop resolutions, dual screen ability, relatively quiet for its size. RAM size is odd, but fair for what it can do.

Cons: Frequent problems with framerate issues with most games. They seem to start up just fine before they graphically degrade to the point of being unplayable. The only support I have gotten has responded that these were problems with the drivers. I cant tell you how many times I've removed files and reinstalled them back again, sometimes even in safe mode. I still havent resolved the problem so currently I have been trying to refrain from games and high graphical useage for the time being. If you think you can handle this better than me be my guest.

Other Thoughts: EVGA uses an E-mail system to resolve problems, so if you do find a problem get ready to wait for that answer.

5 out of 5 eggsSick Card!

Pros: This is a sweet card. Stacked this card on a biostar tf-7050 mobo, 4 gigs of gskill ddr2 800, amd x2 6000+, 500gig wd se16. This thing puts off a lot of heat but easy to control with a nice case. Runs bf2142 all high with no probs, and hammers my ati 1650 pro on a intel dual-core 2mb. Love it, wont go back to ati.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Couldn't say it was a con but I had to stick an extra 2 120mm case fans in the tower to keeps everything else cool from this card, well worth it though.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Card

Pros: Really fast! Keeps cool. I'm running Quake Wars at max graphics settings with no problem. Same core clock speed as the 640mb version.

Cons: The 640 mb version of this card is not much more expensive now. I wish I would have waited a few more weeks to buy this one.

Other Thoughts: Some of the newer games like Crysis and Tabula Rasa want atleast 512mb of video memory. This card falls short in that aspect, but performs really really well on just about everything I throw at it. I have had absolutely no problems with it so far. If you have an extra 50 bucks, try to find the 640mb version of this card instead.

5 out of 5 eggsOutstanding

Pros: This is an awesome card. Beware though it is a very large card and may not fit in all cases. It booted right up, and gets pretty good scores in 3dMark06

Cons: If you're looking for a card, I'd recommend the 8800GT series card. It is faster than this card for about the same price. I was in a crunch and needed a system fast, and I couldnt find an 8800GT in stock at newegg, so I went with this one.

Other Thoughts: This card played crysis/cod4 at high settings, clearly. I have it with a e2180 o/c'd to 3ghz, 2gb ddr2800 Crucial Ballistix, on a gigabyte d3sl motherboard. It rocks!

5 out of 5 eggsUnreal

Pros: I've been waiting months for the release of Unreal Tournament III in anticipation of having to pick up a second one of these cards to run SLI. After loading up the game and setting everythinig to maximum, it still runs flawlessly in conjunction with my Q6600 quad processor @1280x1024. That just saved me another $300.

Cons: Price still hasn't dropped from six months ago.

Other Thoughts: My cat's breath smells like cat food.
