Its integrated dual 400MHz RAMDACs allow you to connect to connect a pair of displays to speed up your workflow – or spread out your gameplay. 2 out of 5 eggsM41D3N'S revision

Pros: this card lasted me for a loooong time, and even on 1680x1050 maintained 50+ fps in oblivion 2xAA, and everything else on, and on high.

Cons: made by evga, i should have went with my gut back in the day, and bought the 7900gt for like 20 bucks more. this card pooped all over me. i artifact at 35 degrees celcius, with the card never being overclocked, i was kinda upset. called evga and, an they said that it was recertified, and that i was out of luck. so now evga lost another costumer because, this was not the first thing made by them to die.

Other Thoughts: my friend has an inno3d version of this card, and it always ran better/cooler than mine. AND I HAVE A CASE FULL OF 120MM FANS!!! for all out there, EVGA/XFX/PNY/ and ASUS are not the only manufacturers. Vvikoo, sparkle, inno3d, and gainward, all make fantastic cards that run a little better. too bad that they are all soo hard to find in the U.S.

5 out of 5 eggsSuperb card, even refurbished!

Pros: The card is quiet, powerful, relatively inexpensive for the punch it grants, and runs cool if you have a well ventilated system. I bought this card nearly a year and a half ago and I have not had a single problem with it at all.

Cons: Large! It hangs over my northbridge which makes removal difficult due to the positioning of the retention clip.

5 out of 5 eggsSLI

Pros: I've been running two 7800 GTXs in SLI for a while now. I haven't had any issues with any of the latest games at all.

Cons: Can't go dual monitors in SLI but not really a con

Other Thoughts: If you are going to spend this much on a card, you might as well buy a 8800 GTS with 640mb of mem. Don't listen to those that say this card is yesterday's news. The 8800 will be yesterday's news in 2008. You don't have to buy a new card every year! There is a lot of marketing to boost 8800 sales so be aware. Do your own research. Don't feed the Nvidia marketing hype. The 7800GTX is still good and plays EVERY game at this point. Unless you need to brag about benchmarks, this is a good card.

2 out of 5 eggsIt was okay when it worked..

Pros: Only took up one slot (as opposed to a lot of the 2-slot higher-end cards), ran everything that I used it for well, EVGA has always been a good name in computer parts for me.

Cons: Card runs hot! I don't know how you could SLI these things without melting both of them, card only lasted me for one year before artifacting, most likely melted itself.

Other Thoughts: I bought this to replace my old 6800 Ultra about a year ago. It was a step up for sure. Bought it refurb from NewEgg. A year later it started artifacting at which point I replaced it with a 7900GTX (which feels significantly faster surprisingly). EVGA acknowledges that the card probably melted itself but as it's a refurb it's not covered under their "Limited Lifetime Warranty". I'd be very hesitant to recommend this card to anyone. It's ok when it works but if it breaks down on you and your 90 days have past then you're out of luck.

5 out of 5 eggsGood

Pros: This is a great card like 2 years ago. But it will do the job of any game that came out in 06 early 07.

Cons: Outdated by the geforce 8 series

Other Thoughts: The fact that abe down there says these cards in sli can beat a 8800GTX is a false statement. Read up on tomshardware.com and know that those cards got smashed by the 8800GTX your talking about the king of kings and all u got is 2 7800GTX's in sli big wow, yesterdays news. Thats like saying a honda can beat a lambo. That ridiculous. Read up on facts. Your not fooling anyone.

4 out of 5 eggs7800gtx sli??

Pros: I dunno

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: there is no way 7800 gtx sli'd can outperform 8800gtx. 8800 GT destroyed 7950 sli by a huge margin in several reviews. and 8800 gt doesn't outperform 8800gtx at high resolution and its at par with the gtx at 1158 and below.... do you have like a 486 in your gtx setup??? there must be a huge setup difference in order to have your gtx get outperformed by 7800

5 out of 5 eggsgreat card

Pros: great card!! i have 2 computers one has 8800 gtx and another with 2 of these cards running in sli!!

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: for the guy trying to call me an iddiot before this post, research is rubbish compared to actual sight. my 7800 gtx running in sli runs faster and better than my lone 8800 gtx. make sure your research has facts and experience to back you up. just to get the record straight, my 7800gtx running in sli is better than my 8800 gtx. come over and ill show you if you dont believe me!!

5 out of 5 eggsNot a 7900GTO

Pros: I don't own this card but I do own the 7900 GTO. The GTO is a great card and one of the fastest 7 sereis cards around.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: Just a pointer to Abe. There is no way that your 2 7800 gtx's beats out a single 8800 gtx. That card has way more power than those 2 together all cause of the unified shaders it has. Do some research before you post some rubbish about something you own. They want even pull the scores are frame rates my GTO does. Just a little bit of advice thats all.

4 out of 5 eggsReliable Card

Pros: This is a good card and is very stable. Had mine since late december of 2005 and it just now died, but eVGA is taking it under warranty

Cons: a little long so I am always worried about the stress put on the pci x slot

Other Thoughts: eVGA will definately cover your warranty as long as you have not tampered with the card. as per the review below me, I think you are looking at the advanced rma, for which you must register within 30 days of your purchase. for normal rma I registered the day the card died, almost a year and a half after the card died, and they are still honoring my warranty

1 out of 5 eggscrapped out after 6 months

Pros: its a good video card but crapping out after 6 months makes it suck

Cons: died in 6 months

Other Thoughts: evga should still warranty this card if it was purchased less than a year ago. hoping they do it for me. on the website says they dont do it
