5 out of 5 eggsExcellent Card

Pros: Excellent card! Works like a charm.

Cons: Not the *very best* out there... if you're willing to fork out another 100$ bucks you could get better

Other Thoughts: For the price range, it can't be beat!

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent Product.

Pros: Great performance, for the price. Will run most games at high resolution with a mix of mid/high detail, AntiAliasing, and Anisotropic Filtering. Never drops below 25-29fps in F.E.A.R. w/ high details, 2x AA and 8x AF @ 1680x1050 w/ vsync off. No slow downs in the performance test, however, a few in the single-player game. This is with a Core2 E6300 @ 2.9ghz and 1gb of Corsair PC2-5400C4.

Cons: Don't expect to game at 1600x1200 with full details and full AA/AF at over 100fps. That's what the 7950's are for.

The only game I have had woes with is HL2: Episode One. I suspect it's a driver problem.

Other Thoughts: My motherboard only has 1 PCI Express x16 slot, so I am unable to try SLI.

If you are on a budget and want the best for your money, this is it right here. If you can shell out $100 more, go for the 7950 GT.

5 out of 5 eggsubercard!

Pros: Runs all my games (half life 2, ut2k4, cs source, hitman blood money) maxed out at 1024x768 with full aa and af. Doesn't require a great pc to enjoy its features. (P4HT, 1.5G ram) Very quiet even under full load.

Cons: Runs a little hot under full load 65C but that's probably because I have poor ventilation.

Other Thoughts: The card is advertised as requiring 400W of power on both evga and newegg's site but the box says it actually requires 450W. Not a big deal unless you have a weak psu.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Great card....Fear, hl2, AOE3 all look and run great. ocd to 580 and 1600 on stock cooling and its 100% stable. Sure beats the pants off my old x300

Cons: Im having some issues with CSS. it takes forever to load and when it does its really slow... hopefully just a driver issue

5 out of 5 eggsCool & Fast

Pros: Stuck my Zalman VF700 on it... not even breaking a sweat 46C at 500/700. Should be able to go to at least 550.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: Running all my games at 1280x1024 4xAA 8xAF extremely smooth framrates. Awesome card.

5 out of 5 eggsSo far so good

Pros: Plays my games great, bought along with a E6600 and Gigabyte ds3 board. CS:Source runs between 100 and 120 fps on max settings at 1024x768, the lost coast stress test averaged around 100 and it went through the fear demo decently (don't know exact fps) at max detail 1024x768

Cons: I didn't buy an SLI board and another.

Other Thoughts: Have not overclocked yet, I like having excellent stability, but I'm sure the bug will get me pretty soon.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: SLI, overclockability, price.

Basically sums it up about these cards, they're the absolute ideal SLI video cards, they stay very cool (90nm manufacturing process), hit 550/1760 quite easily on stock cooling, your mileage may vary.

Cons: I've run into some odd artifacts even at stock frequencies, and a couple of weird problems with nVidia beta drivers.

Other Thoughts: seems like the 7900GS might be the 7900GT's that were messed up/RMA'd/repaired.

I'm running these cards in SLI, and it's extremely fast, plays every game i throw at it @ 2048x1536/80hz on my hp P1130.

the X1900GT is about on par with the 7900GS, a little faster in most things, but if you have a SLI motherboard, these are the cards to use.
