Here's a video card for the value-driven gamer, engineer or artist with high standards. Using a GeForce 7600GT processor clocked at 560 Mhz with 12 pixel pipelines, 256 MB GDDR3 memory (with memory bandwidth of 22.4 GB/sec), you're not talking "slow display" here!
It has a DVI connector and a VGA connector (with an adapter so the DVI connection can be used on VGA-style monitors), and an integrated TV encoder putting out HDTV, S-Video or Composite Video. SLI-ready (so make certain your power supply can handle it!), it features HDR (High Dynamic Range) for ever more realistic lighting and display effects. PCI Express support to keep up with that fast GPU, it's Vista ready and can display a resolution of 2560 x 1600.
The next generation of games and hi-res HDR applications is here already, so update to a card that knows how to talk to them.

Great card... Rebate problem
- Pros: Running HL2/CS:S/DOD/S & LOTRO at 1600x1220 - full settings without hiccup, and getting great FPS (40-60). Very happy with my purchase.
- Cons: Ordered the card with a $20 rebate, but got a $15 check in the mail. Called Newegg and they credited my $5 back to my Visa within 5 minutes.
- Other Thoughts: Card is great, and Newegg's service is outstanding.
Bad start because of User Error
- Pros: Solid card, works wonders for my LCD in 1280x1024. I keep all my visual quality settings on low and distance at full for the most FPS and smoothest play, but I cranked it up in some games just to see what it could do.
WOW, CS Source, BF2, and BF2142 all run high with an average minimum 40FPS and 95% of the time at 60FPS. Sometimes it would max out my monitor at 75FPS and sometimes it would go as low as 20FPS, but that's at a nice high resolution with 4AA and 4AI filtering. I tried the same thing at 1024x768 and 800x600 and the FPS got better and better. Great bang for the buck.
- Cons: Absolutely DO NOT USE the graphic card drivers provided on the CD. There have been reports of BSOD on the comments here and I experienced the problem and then some. It was so bad I couldn't even boot into any of the three WinXP Safe Modes (vanilla, command prompt, and networking) without experiencing it.
Reformatting did not help either? I had to go back and delete the partitions AND reshuffle (had 32 and 5, had to reverse it to 5 and 32) and then format to fix it.
The 93.xx series drivers from NVidia work great. I highly recommend them.
- Other Thoughts: The BSOD experience gives me shaky confidence at best now, but it was my own fault for ignoring both the comments as well as ignoring the graphic shakiness, stutters, and glitches I was experiencing when trying to do things like scroll on a webpage.
I can't dock eVGA for my own error, but I do dock them a full star for shipping an installation CD with BSOD errors. That's just unacceptable.

again...great card for the price...
- Pros: For the price this card is great! Runs amazing and will kick any older game out there....
- Cons: none...
- Other Thoughts: When you're purchasing a 'lesser' card you have to expect 'lesser' performance. This card has impressed me and for what I paid for it, it's a great deal!
Ok
- Pros: Its a ok card now, would have considered it a great card about 2 years ago...
- Cons: Struggles with newer games( Mass effect, call of duty 4, Aoc,etc...
I found myself having to lower the resolution or/and turning off graphical features(Shadows, AA,etc..)
- Other Thoughts: x2 5000+, 2GBs ram, vista, 7600GT :(
I game at 1024x768 Btw Guess its time for me to get a 8800GT
Great for the Budget Gamer
- Pros: I've been able to throw almost every game at it. The only game was Crysis which didn't run for obvious reasons. World of Warcraft, Unreal Tournament 3 and 2004, TF2, Portal all ran fine.
- Cons: None
- Other Thoughts: Make sure you have a good PSU (power supply unit) for adequate power
