5 out of 5 eggsBasic

Pros: Good for office computers and basic setups. Good price.

Cons: None really.
Priced for basic use.

Other Thoughts: 5 eggs because it does what its supposed to for a good price. I'd suggest this for anyone using a computer for work.

4 out of 5 eggsfirst one was DOA but works now

Pros: The card works great for standard windows use. I bought this card primarily for the dual display support and the fact that it had no fan because it is being used in a quiet computer for music production.

Cons: The first card I got was DOA. Funky screen writes all over the screen made it obvious that something was wrong with the card. There isn't a lifetime warranty either.

Other Thoughts: Good cheap card..

5 out of 5 eggsUbuntu dual head

Pros: Great card for the money. I am running a 22" (1680x1050) widescreen lcd and a 19" (1280x1024)crt. Setup was a breeze. It does what I need it to do and does it well.

Cons: Tends to run hot. I had to reposition a case fan to help keep it under 100c when running my most demanding games. Now it idles around 60c.

5 out of 5 eggsGood Business Video Card

Pros: Able to do exactly what I needed - Dual 17" flat panel displays with shared desktop. Mostly business applications. Quiet - no moving parts. Relatively small.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: Have not tried gaming, etc.

2 out of 5 eggsworks but is garbage

Pros: does diplay video and can play basic games. counterstrike, civ 3

Cons: I'm pretty sure its the component in my system causing instability. seems to freeze up when gaming, or when i had vista and did video assesement. switched to ubuntu, and is stable enough except when playing counterstike, computer will freeze almost everytime i played for a while. started dual booting with ubuntu and XP and XP is even more unstable while playing CS. but there is a chance its not the card. I dont think it was designed for gaming anyway.

Other Thoughts: get atleast a 7900 if you want to play games. i got it as part of a combo so i cant return it. but its good if i ever need to build a system that doesnt have integrated graphics. newegg is a great company to deal with, no complaints there.

4 out of 5 eggsPoor for Gaming Great 2D quality

Pros: Looks really good on my DVI flat panel LCD.

Cons: Tried playing Half life 2 Episode One with 2 Gig ram, X2 3800 and a Terra bite raid setup and the frame rate was very sluggish! Lowest everything and you could barley play.

Other Thoughts: Good card for Vista I would imagine with 2D acceleration not a gaming card. I am going to RMA this card and get a 7600GT for 2x the price!

5 out of 5 eggsSuper

Pros: This is the second such card I purchased.

The First purchase and Post:
Reviewed By: on 5/14/2007 Tech Level: somewhat high - Ownership: 1 day to 1 week

The flicker with the first card was due to resolution / frequency mismatch.

Both cards work great.

Cons: Have not received rebate yet. But does anyone really expect a rebate unless they also send a federal government certified copy of DNA certification along with a Birth certificate that was at least handled by 2 people. One of which has to be 10 years older than you based on offical Birth certiface, and one who must have become a natuaralized citizen of the United States when it did not rain in Seattle Washington for more than 4 days out of that year.

Other Thoughts: None. It's a pretty good product, even if I don't get a rebate.

4 out of 5 eggsGood Deal

Pros: I just ordered this card again for another computer upgrade, seems to work just fine.

Cons: The original unit works well, however at a higher refresh rate on an older Mitsubshi CRT display there was noticeable flickering. I will soon find out if it's the card or monitor that caused this.

Other Thoughts: Overall a pretty good deal.

4 out of 5 eggsGood card

Pros: I'm not a gamer, so this card does a good job for what I need, at an excellent price.

Cons: This is suppose to be sli ready, BUT only with a software bridge. I use a linux OS and it's excellent as a single, but in the event you will later want to run two cards with linux, it currently lacks the software.
