Crush your enemies and see them driven before you: that is what’s best. The factory super-clocked GeForce 8800Ultra video card from EVGA helps make it happen. The core clock is boosted from 612MHz to 655MHz and the memory clock at 1,125MHz (2,250MHz effective) instead of 1080MHz. It includes DirectX 10 support for crushing superiority in even the most modern games. When they start start to catch up, slip another card in and watch SLI mode almost double your video power.
Output is through 2 dual-link DVI-I ports for up to 2 monitors, or a monitor and a TV. If you haven’t jumped to flat panel monitors, or if they don’t have DVI ports, you’re still okay with two DVI to VGA adapters. There is also an S-Video port for HDTV/component video as well as S-Video signals. The DVI ports are HDCP capable so you can watch HD-DVD and Blu-ray discs in full HD mode.
NVIDIA PureVideo HD technology combines high-definition video engineering for amazing clarity with smooth video, accurate color and precise image scaling. Built on its own core, it provides the great picture and movies with minimal CPU tie-up. The advanced shader processors deliver Quantum Effects Technology, a new level of physics effects rendered on the GPU. These combine to deliver stunning visual landscapes while allowing the CPU to focus on the game engine and AI. Get one of these, or even two, and there'll be no more excuse for losing!

Kinda big. O.o;
- Pros: This is an overall great product, and by far the fastest card I've ever had. I plan on saving up for a second to Sli in my new computer. It's a great match up with the ( EVGA 122-CK-NF67-A1 LGA 775 NVIDIA nForce 680i LT SLI ATX Intel Motherboard - Retail
- Cons: Aside from the fact that you could use this thing as a primitive weapon on the battlefield, it is quite hot. Someone did mention using water cooling, but I think that as long as you keep your case tidy and your card has plenty of room to breath it will be fine. This card is literally about the size of a brick and with that it takes up alot of room. MAKE SURE YOU GIVE IT THE SPACE TO BREATH.
- Other Thoughts: If you're worried about the price then don't bother. You'll need some serious equipment to keep this thing in good shape as far as power and cooling go.
Buy....NOW!!!
- Pros: Ridiculous power, it mudstomps absolutely everything. In SLI... It will create WOOD. Plenty of overclocking headroom left. And it's fairly easy to uninstall the fan and throw on liquid. These are truly devistating and will make lesser cards quiver in it's wake. Expect impressive 3d mark scores and pwnage to all noobs.
- Cons: Not having enough nooblets to mow down with my spiffy new cards. Chicks don't relate to the awesomeness of the ULTRA. Will not get you any.
- Other Thoughts: Tec cooled q6600, 2x ultras w/koolance waterblocks, x-fi sc, 1k w pcp&c psu, 2gb pc 6400 Dominators @1066, evga 680i mobo inc. koolance water blocks for N & S bridge.
3dmark06 = 20,634 q6600 @ 4ghz @ 1.6375V gpus @ 675/2400. Avg system temps 1 degree celcious on cpu, 45-60 idle/load gpu's

- Pros: What can i say that everyone else has not already said. This card does not have any problems with video game graphics, at least not the games i play. Works as advertised! Can not beat the delivery, got to me with a quickness.
- Cons: none so far... unless you count the fact that there are currently no Mother Boards that support dual AMD quad core (AM2+) and SLI...
- Other Thoughts: HUGE! i read a few of the reviews that said this thing was big, and kind of shrugged it off. To those of you who are thinking about getting this card, especially if you plan on running SLI, make sure that your motherboard will support this/these cards. i had to do some modifying to get this card to sit right, which is my own fault for not reading about this card and measuring. all i had to do was rearrange some SATA cables but it took me a few minutes to figure out what was keeping this card from locking in place. there is no way i will be able to run SLI on my current board. but again, this is not a fault on the manufacturer's part, it is my ignorance.
Sweet Lord
- Pros: This video card is the king of all video cards. eats though everything I throw at it. It truly is a giant! the directx 10 is truly a nice addition and if you're thinking of running vista, this babe will make you vista experience much more pleasant.
- Cons: consumes a lot of power and gets pretty hot, but just crank up the board's fan using rivertuner or watercool it and it should be fine.
- Other Thoughts: make sure you have a good power supply.
amazing card
- Pros: This card is truly amazing, you can run crysis at all very high settings with just one of these cards.
- Cons: This thing is HUGE!!! I couldnt believe the size of this beast till i took it out of the box and realized it looked like brick. I don't think i'll be able to put aonother one in my antec 900 case, which by the way keeps everything very cool. I can only say that i wish it was smaller. The price is alot, but well worth it.
- Other Thoughts: Make sure you have a good processor and good ram because you wont be able to use the card to its full potential. My processor gets way to hot and slows down my game play so i just ordered a new heatsink, hopefully this will help my problem. I'm using a hanns G 28 inch monitor 1080p hdmi, antec 900 case, 4x1gb ocz reaper ram with the heat pipe ( great product) intel e6850 at 3.0ghz not overclocked yet till this heatsink comes. ALL IN ALL, THIS IS THE BEST GRAPHICS CARD TO DATE, make sure you have sufficient room if you are going to run sli, something bigger then an antec 900.
THANKS NEWEGG FOR HELPING ME PUT TOGEATHER MY DREAM MACHINE!!!
