2 out of 5 eggsWent bad after a year

Pros: Fast card

Cons: Eventually the thing died on me after year or so of use.

Other Thoughts: I won't buy another eVGA product again. First time I have had a video card die on me.

4 out of 5 eggsBad Fan

Pros: The card looked great but the fan was bad from the get go. I RMA'd it & ordered the eVGA 7800GT instead.

Cons: Bad fan. (It happens)

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent AGP card

Pros: Run's WWII Online very well with all graphics maxed out. I was getting about 137 fps while flying, and about 40 while in a battle on the ground.

Cons: Nothing serious found. Does seem to run kinda hot but what can you do?

Other Thoughts: This card has been an incredible upgrade froim my 5700. My board has no PCI e slot so I'll have to stick with my rig for some years. It was hard enough talking my wife into letting me get this card, much less a new MOBO...

5 out of 5 eggsmaybe the best card for older AMD MPX duallies

Pros: One of the last high end AGP cards designed as native AGP.
EVGA seems to have first rate tech support with a tech monitored user forum. You get a lifetime warrenty if you register the card with evga.

Cons: Very, very long card, and with the power molex connector sticking out the end it badly crowds into the harddrive cage space of my antec server case.

Other Thoughts: I bought this card after returning a 6600GT that DOES NOT work with the AMD MPX chipset on my old Asus A7M266-D dual MP board. The newer nvidia GPU's that are pci-e chips converted to AGP don't seem to work with these old dually boards very well. Lots of posts about this issue on the forum at 2CPU.

3 out of 5 eggsEhh...

Pros: Well... It's a 6800 GT, and it works...

Cons: I had the same problem as the guy a couple of reviews down, the card came with 8 pixel pipelines, and 4 vertex shaders enabled, which is reallllyyy weird. But I was unable to unlock the card to 16/6 without any problems w/riviatuner, just like a regular 6800 GT.

Other Thoughts: Only buy this card if you know what you are doing when it comes to moding cards. You can either flash the BIOS to a regular 6800 GT, or unlock the pipes in riviatuner.

5 out of 5 eggsThis Card is Nice.

Pros: I installed the card and have been playing Doom3, HL2 and COD 2 alol at top resolutions! What a nice card! This is the card for people who do not wish to go to the PCI - E Platform yet.

Cons: The drivers disk was outdated. If you buy this card, make sure you download the latest drivers and AGP Motherboard drivers for your motherboard.

Other Thoughts: Intel P4 - 3GHZ HT CPU
2 GB DD400 3200 PNI Ram
WD 36 GB Raptor SATA HD
D865PERL Intel MB
ATX Case

1 out of 5 eggs6800gt?

Pros: first off new egg rocks,
sadly this card did not!

Cons: i also recieved one with only 8 pixel shaders enabled on what's suppose to be a 16 pixel shader card!!! Four vertex shaders are on out of six.Usually all six are enabled.

5 out of 5 eggsVery nice card

Pros: Blazing fast, can play all my games like HL2,BF2,Farcry,Doom3 with graphics all maxed out.

Cons: none so far its a good card

Other Thoughts: Some people have complained about the noise but my case fans are a little loud so i dont hear it. Another thing people complain about is how hot the card runs but mine only runs at 49 degrees C idle and the max its got gaming is 64 degrees C so im having no problems at all

2 out of 5 eggsNot quite a 6800GT

Pros: Good newegg response to RMA for this first time buyer.

Cons: Found out what was causing my low 3dMark05 scores(3400). Turns out I have only 8 pixel shaders enabled on what's suppose to be a 16 pixel shader card!!! Four vertex shaders are on out of six.Usually all six are enabled.

Other Thoughts: Hopefully this will not be a trend on this particular card. Will await new card and update. My understading is that this chip(NV40) is out of production. So how did eVGA get this item back into stock?

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing card

Pros: I got this card to replace my old Ti4200, and let me say, that it has been a joy. I am able to play quake 4, battlefield 2, Doom3, HL2, and a lot more on high/ultra settings with no problem at all. I haven't overclocked it or anything, and it's performing very well.

Cons: none that come to mind

Other Thoughts: agreeing with the consumer below me, you really do need a good amount of ram to run it. I got quite a bit of stutter when i played bf2 at high settings. But with some added ram, all of the games run smoothly without a problem. Here are my specs just FYI

Intel 2.6 ghz processor
80 gb hard drive
2 gb ram
nvidia GeForce 6800 GT

Overall amazing card
