Well....
- Pros: The card works great when it works. I had the card for about a month and it conked out on me. I rma'd for a second and that was DOA. but for the time the card acctually worked it was excellent 7851 in 3dmark05. it can run cod2 bf2 even Oblivion with its hands tied behind its back
- Cons: the card is a bit large and i noticed while i had the card out (it was broken, hence the rma) i noticed the card is acctually quite loud
- Other Thoughts: its a good card.
1.buy it 2.buy 7900gt (same price but sold out)
definately a step-up from intel extreme graphics 2!
Wonderful Card!
- Pros: This powerful card deliveres outstanding graphics performance with its fast core, memory, and 20 pixel pipelines.
- Cons: I have had no problems with my card, even though some get a bad one, going through and RMA'ing it is worth the wait.
- Other Thoughts: I wasen't getting the performance I hoped for from Elderscrolls 4 oblivion, until I bought more RAM. I had low FPS before I bought high speed Corsair XMS (2GB), before I had 1gb of Value select ram. My performace shot through the roof with my new memory! I found that this card can handle the graphics, it was the rest of my computer that was slowing me down. All of the graphics on oblivion are turned up. The only thing that isnt is the object distance, and item distance. (midrange) Which are cpu dependant. Also the shadows are not turned up to max, but it is not much different at middle ground. (auto detect) I have even enabled anti-aliasing. I am so happy =)
My system: AMD 64 3200+ 2.0ghz EVGA Geforce 7800GT CO MSI RS483m4 ATI Xpress 200 2gb Corsair XMS pc3200 1gb Corsair Value select (total 3gb) running great! Lite-on Dvdr drive Maxtor 120gb, seagate 80gb both with 8mb cache and 7200rpm 580w PSU, Realtek 7.1 audio
- Pros: Seems to be quite, and has not given any trouble sofar.
- Cons: None
