5 out of 5 eggsReturn of the King

Pros: This is THE video card to buy right now! I had been waiting to upgrade my X800XT for one of the current gen cards as it's showing it's age. If you want to run new games at 16X12 4X8X and up, this is the card for you. Runs totally quiet and cool with exceptional HSF. Pure Video works great, fillrate and bandwidth to spare. I like the fact that I can SLI this card if I ever need to, and get longer use out of the investment.

Cons: Not cheap, but the best never is.

Other Thoughts: Hopefully these things are in stock to stay.

5 out of 5 eggsFast Card and Friendly Support

Pros: My games look and run great (see exceptions) and my benchmarks are unreal compared to my old 6800GT setup. EVGA's excellent support is friendly, and helpful.

Cons: I've been having tearing and artifacts in BF2 Kubra Dam and Karkand. And discoloring (Pink of all things) in BF2 SF on Leviathon? under heavy game play. My case and CPU run very cool, and this is also with a clean OS and driver install and no OC'ing. EVGA has been very helpful, and is replacing my card, with Cross Shipping. I've just been staying away from these maps until my replacement card comes.

Other Thoughts: I had to call at about 2:30AM once I started seeing some BF2 issues, and truly expected to get an outsourced country that can't be named here. Not that this is entirely bad, but I have had issues with support from outsourced groups before (like my companies HR group, ugg). This was not the case at eVGA. I do plan on buying the matching card for my SLI setup when its in stock again. Even the best hardware can go bad, but its the customer service that will bring me back again. Example: NewEgg rocks, and now I know eVGA does too!

4 out of 5 eggsAmazing GPU

Pros: Amazing GPU, Outstanding performance by nVidia and eVga. The Stock heatsink is HUGE but it keeps the GPU at a low 40-45c. Does not make any additional noise. Make sure you have LOTS of room on mobo. No problems so far.

Cons: Call of Duty 2 was suppose to be in the bunddle. Never recieved it ( 4 star is because i never recieved what was posted)

Other Thoughts: ASUS A8N-SLI Premium
AMD Athlon 64 x2 +4400 Dual Core
2(4x512)gig kingston ddr 400
120g seagate 7200 rpm sata
200g Maxtor 7200 rpm pata
eVga GeForce 7800 GTX ddr3 512mb
Tt Big Typhoon
Antec TruePower II TPII-550w ATX

5 out of 5 eggsThe icing on the cake

Pros: This card is incredible. This card definitely demolishes my old card, a Radeon 9000. Compared to my friend's set up, mine devastated my friend's x850. This card was definitely the icing on the cake for my new build:
AMD Athlon 64 X2 4800+
Creative Labs X-Fi Platinum
2gb Corsair XMS Ram
74gb Western Digital Raptor
250gb Seagate Barracuda
Antec TruePower 550W PSU
Thermaltake Xaser case
Abit KN8 Ultra
RAZER Copperhead Mouse
Saitek Eclipse Keyboard

This card is an immense improvement for me. Thank you eVGA for making such a fine product.

Cons: Mine didn't include Call of Duty 2. Unfortunately they've run out of it. Oh well, I bought the card for the graphical performance anyways

Other Thoughts: I would definitely recommend this product to anyone willing to spend a sizeable chunk of cash for a beautiful card. Everything about this card screams perfection.

5 out of 5 eggsBest of the Best

Pros: Amazing Performance, beats out the X1800 XT in everything, and still has overclocking potential yet untapped! eVGA version running cooler (37 C idle 42 c load) and somehow outperforming the BFG Tech and MSI Cards, what more could you want?! Plus it ships with Call of Duty 2... The best pack in game from any vendor on this Card! I'm glad I waited for a 512MB version.

Cons: The price is a quite a kick in the junk, but if you've gotta have the best you're going to pay for it.

This thing also is a space hog... luckily I just got a Steelpad USB Soundcard because my Audigy 2 wouldn't fit with with this bad boy in the bottom PCI Express 16 slot.

Other Thoughts: I'm glad I waited for a 512MB version, definitly.

5 out of 5 eggsBest card on the market

Pros: Fastest card on the market. Plays any game out there. Will beat A??'s newest card x1800?? Prefect for an SLI upgrade. The Step Up offer by eVGA is great. I have not used that offer yet mayby in future. I get a score of 9600 in 3Dmark 2005 with an FX-57. When OCed to 580 1750 i get 10,000. eVGA has one of the best support. I recommend this company or B?? brand.

Here is my setup:

-Asus A8N32-SLI Deluxe
-AMD Athlon 64 FX57
-eVGA Geforce 7800GTX 512MB
-2x Crucial Ballistix 1GB 184-Pin DDR 500 (PC 4000)
-Plextor SATA DVD Burner PX-716SA/SW
-Thermaltake Silent Pure Power 680W
-Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi XtremeMusic
-Western Digital Raptor 74GB
-Hitachi Deskstar 250GB (Iam looking to get the Hitachi 500GB)
-ASPIRE X-Navigator Case
-Sony FDD

Cons: NONE

Other Thoughts: If you got the money buy it, you wont regret it.

Comments: I JUST opened my 256MB KO Edition about 10 minutes before I saw this! I am SO glad eVGA has that step-up program!
