5 out of 5 eggsUPDATED - MUST READ

Pros: I believe some people were too hasty returning their cards. Although it was rare, I had problems with Artifacts and crashes playing Oblivion. nVidia's latest driver 9X.XX fixed these problems along with Oblivion updates.

Cons: This card and the newer models have so much power that if your games have jagged edges or run weird but doesn't look like its too slow, then try vertical sync. Sometimes the card is too fast for the monitor refresh rate.

Other Thoughts: I love this card and highly recommend it. I hope this helps anyone who is looking and may have questions. And I hope this helps those who may be planning to RMA but don't need to.

4 out of 5 eggsGood Card

Pros: This card gets an average FPS of 60 with BF2 maxed out on my 24 inch 1900 res monitor.

Cons: This card can get hot after playing games for 1 hour. Artifacting issues when the card gets hot.

Other Thoughts: My rig- CPU-AthlonX2 4800+, GPU Nvidia 7900GTX, Ram- 2048 MB corsair, Hard Drive-WD 200gb, Sound Card- Creative Soundblaster, Motherboard- Asus A8N SLI Deluxe, Case- Aspire-X Navigator.

5 out of 5 eggsNot as risky as some would have you believe

Pros: High frame rates with all settings maxed in any game. This isn't exactly a gaming rig, but I wanted to get this card for a future system I plan to make with SLI, and so I'm just running the card in this till then. I HAVE NOT noticed any problems with artifacting, or any other described problems. Ran 3d Mark 06 several hundred times, nothing.

Cons: The price, mainly. You will spend cash for the performance. You'll still notice jaggies here and there when fighting gets really intense on FEAR, but if you sacrifice some settings it'll be fine. Also, if you have a MicroATX case, this thing is huge. You'll probably have less than an inch of clearance between this card and your hard drives when you get it in there.

Other Thoughts: People will tell you that the 7900 series is riddled with problems. They exaggerate. My card works fine, no problems whatsoever. The number of faulty cards is a very small percentage. If it was as many as people claim, NVIDIA or EVGA would've probably done a complete recall, which they haven't. They have updated their product line, yes, but that's it.

5 out of 5 eggsnvidia uses jetway parts

Pros: fast. runs so many games at full settings and 3d mark 05 i pulled around 10,400 thats cuz i have stuff runng in the back ground

Cons: i called efvga to ram the card and they told me that they have a class action lawsuite against jetway because jetway is the compnay who builds the parts for evga and nvidia. they have the lawsuit out because jetway has been using faulty material in the production of there products. evga is mad and will be swiching to a fidd supplyer. 3 diff tech guys at evga told me this so i know its tru and plus i had to rma mt evga mainboard also. go evga, you rock. jetway can go to you know where for all i care.

5 out of 5 eggsLove it and I know what I'm talking about...

Pros: Great framerates. Awesome GPU temps (42C idle -> 58C fl). I have had NO ISSUES AT ALL. You can even get them to run HDR and AA at the same time in FEAR.I upgraded from 2x6800 Ultra in Sli to these. What a difference. On average I get over 100 fps in BF2&SF and over 65fps in FEAR (AA+HDR) with all settings maxed in all games and I DO MEAN ALL SETTINGS. I'm no freakin' 12 year old noob. I've built about 10 machines since the p2 slip slot machines... i just aged myself. yikes. My system 2x7900GTX, Asus A8N32, 2ghz cheapo Rosewill RAM DDR400, AMD 64 3800 X2 OC'ed to 2.4ghz. blah blah blah....

Cons: Heatsinks are HUGE!! Make sure you get a mobo that will give you ample room between cards if you plan on running SLi. I'm going to have to create some sort of PCI to Firewire external device if I want to use a PhysX card..(hint hint) no room left. Also I get artifacts in FEAR if I try to overclock using stock coolers. Probably requires liquid cooling. Oh yeah and the 7950's are out...

Other Thoughts: Great card. No issues and EVGA has a great RMA program. If you're card doesn't work you should RMA it directly to the manufacturer LIKE IT SAYS IN THE BOX!! Much faster than waiting for poor Newegg to do it for you, plus you know you're going to get something that works if its a re-distribution problem at EVGA.

1 out of 5 eggsBad card

Pros: fast, silent, and it looks hella cool.

Cons: I think mine was overheating or something, I got lots of artifacts while playing Oblivion, frozen pixels... RMA'd it bought an x1900xtx and I couldn't be happier

Other Thoughts: Don't buy any card with the 7900 chipset, too many problems, not evga's fault, it's Nvidia. x1900 is defintaly the better choice between the two. I'm never buying Nvidia again.

1 out of 5 eggsArrived with the glitch out of the box

Pros: None

If you would like to see if your card has the artifact glitch download and install 3dmarks06 and run it. If it artifacts and locks up contact EVGA for a replacement.

Cons: EVGA.com announced 2 weeks ago that they would be supplying retailers a week later with new cards. I waited 2 weeks to be sure but I still got the one that artifacts and locks up.

5 out of 5 eggsLove this card

Pros: It's the best at the moment and I have had zero issues with it. No ghosting or anything that I have heard in other reviews.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: Was expensive, but waited for a few more cards to come out and some refunds.
