Pros: Passive heatsink, reasonably priced for a fully low profile video card. Does not require extra power and runs cool.

Cons: Would have prefered that they include the VGA connector and bracket as well. Not a real 3D performer, but you should know that going in. This platform is now officially four generations old and is severely outmoded; just don't expect miracles from this card and you'll be pleased.

Other Thoughts: I purchased this merely to add a second monitor to a low profile workstation with only PCI slots available. It works well with the integrated Intel video chipset and multi-monitor use has been painless to configure with this configuration.

Pros: My 6 year old uses an old HP 1.6 celeron box maxed at 512mb. I wanted to free up all the mobo memory for the OS and give her better graphics capabilities to play some games that needed 3D.

The HP mobo has only PCI slots. This card works great for this scenario.

Cons: The HP had 110watt power supply. No, that's not a mistype. The card says minimum 250W. I had a 300W laying around from a case that I bought. It wouldn't run the card, but it was also probably a pretty poor excuse for a power supply.

I checked the manufacturer's website and it said 350W recommended. So I put a 430W in. Works great. Just make sure you have an ample power supply.
