Pros: Price vs. Performance is hard to beat.

Cons: Cards at this level usually don't vent heat to the outside of the case, and this card runs HOT.

Other Thoughts: This card is perfect for my requirements. I'm not a big gaming enthusiast, and have no use for a $400 - $600 video card. My setup has plenty of airflow into and out of the case, so the abundant heat output due to a huge factory overclock isn't a problem. I still plan on installing a ZALMAN VF1000 2 Ball VGA Cooler and ditching the barely adequate factory cooling solution.

Pros: I had to give this card an excellent rating because it has provided me exactly what I wanted: dual monitors in vista. I previously had an ATI AIW x1800xl which sucks in vista (no dual display or tuner). The 8600GTS is sharper and provides better color. I'm not a gamer, but it definitely works awesome for me with photoshop and flash running at the same time.

Cons: i couldn't use my case clips to secure it to the back of the case, so i had to actually use a screw. this is usual for a good video card though...

Other Thoughts: It runs a lot cooler than that gigantor x1800xl. i haven't noticed any problems.

Pros: Easy install. Fan is quite (have not really used the card yet). SLI... cool. Comes with two Adapters not one like the desc states i think. Good HD cable and accy.

Cons: Runs a little warn with my side off. Put it on and got the air moving past and it is fine.
