5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: 2nd EVGA Video card I've owned oredered an additional card for this new rig to utilize SLI feature. Already a great picture. No problems since I've owned.

Cons: Fairly large card need to make sure your case will accomadate. Need two rear slots one for monitor output and one for fan.

Other Thoughts: Make sure you get a big enough power supply. 400W+

5 out of 5 eggsMust have gotten lucky?

Pros: First of all I must have gotten lucky. I picked this card up to pair with my first 8800gts! This bad boy came in as a rev A2. Now it really is an SSC! I have 112sp, 576mhz stock clock and 1800mhz clocked memory! Now I plan on getting a SSC and giving the other 8800 I have to my son.

This card is amazing. What ever I throw at it it can handel.

Cons: Not that big of a con to me, but it runs hot! Idle at 72c with 50% fan and 60c with 100% fan and 82c and 72 respectfully.

Other Thoughts: The version I got and the ssc can still hold there own and when gaming at higher resolutions show there star power. I also game at 1920 x 1080.

5 out of 5 eggsexcellent card

Pros: Runs crysis FLAWLESSLY at 1600x1200 at max settings. Unless you use a higher resolution than that this is the card for you.

Cons: They get REALLY HOT...you will definately need an aftermarket cooler for this, along with extra sinks for the ram/mosfet chips. And make sure you use arctic silver grease for the GPU and the adhesive for the ram. So expect to pay at least another $50 more.

Other Thoughts: Two of these in SLI are faster than (or at least equal to) 1 of the dual GPU 9800s due to the way opengl and directx are designed, and quad 9800s only help in SOME games (and hurt others).

5 out of 5 eggsVERY SATISFIED!!

Pros: Very good video card for the money! I was torn between this one and it's larger sibling but price won out in the end. I have had no problems with this card and am extremely satisfied with the purchase.

Cons: It's a little loud and the cooling fan sits upside down when installed at the bottom of my chassis. I had to pop out the tabs around the card to make sure there was enough air supply around the bottom (logo side)of the card.

Other Thoughts: Great buy! Great Customer service from EVGA. I had an issue installing the card and a 110mm CPU fan the same day. Ended up crippling my mobo. At first I thought it was the card but I was wrong. EVGA did help ALOT, including offering to replace / upgrade for more. wound up replacing the mobo and keeping the card. It runs beautifully but I can't imagine running two of the beasts!

5 out of 5 eggsgood buy

Pros: Great Performance , Low Price , Built Solid, Free Quake Wars.

Cons: Big,(close to 9 inches long) but thats expected with high-end cards

Other Thoughts: using Riva Tuner to turn up your fan speed ensures it stays cool.

5 out of 5 eggsSome HOT HOT Cards

Pros: HOT having two meanings, hot as in Crysis on Very High settings running full DX10 in Vista and handling every bit of it, until (see Cons) they got HOT HOT HOT. Yeah, let's just say these baby's get REAL hot, real fast then everything goes down the tube from there. Are they great cards? YES YES YES, I love em, do they get hot? Yes and you got to cool em down. Fantastic cards if they can be kept cool. I have plenty of air flow in my case, 5-120mmm fans kiccking and they still idle mid-60's, crank to mid-80's in game, no fan control.

Cons: Why would EVGA build a card like this with very little copper to cool it? Then to top it off use sub-par thermal grease between the cooler and the GPU. I droped these cards temps by simply cleaning off that stuff they called thermal compund and put on some Artic 5. Literaly dropped the cards temps by 10C. At this price you should have given them copper coolers and used some real thermal grease.

Other Thoughts: EVGA (2x88000GTS KO 640MB in SLI), on an EVGA 680i SLI Mobo,Intel DC2D E6600, 4GB OCZ DDR2 PC2-6400, SB X-Fi Fatal1ty Champion, Antec P180B case, Silverstone 650W PSU, Razer kb, Lachesis mouse, Headphones, exMat mouse pad & Logitech Z-5300e - 3DSMARK06 = 12288 currently with these cards.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Even with a 2.2 Ghz AMD X2 bottlenecking my system, this card still screams. I'm running Crysis on high settings at about 20 FPS, but if I turn the processor intensive settings to low I can get about 50 FPS and it's all thanks to the 8800! nVidia's control panel lets you tinker with several different features, but I just turn them all the way up since there isn't a game or app this beast can't handle.

Cons: I can't imagine putting this thing in SLi unless you have a full tower. It's the size of a small yacht. Not really a con, just a warning.

Other Thoughts: It's a beast.

4 out of 5 eggsHis card is not borked.

Pros: Great card for mid- to high-end systems. Performs wonderfully in SLI.`

Cons: None really. People complain about temps but I've got a Centurion 5 case and I'm running at about 42c under load, stock cooling.

Other Thoughts: For the reviewer(s) below, Bioshock has issues with Vista. Look it up. This will fix it, guaranteed:

Control Panel > Programs and Features > Turn Windows Features On or Off > Uncheck the Tablet PC Functions box. Don't know why it works, it just does.

For the second reviewer, I'd like to nicely suggest Googling an issue before giving 'advice'.
