5 out of 5 eggsEggcellent!

Pros: This card runs everything better than any card I have seen before. I got this because the 8800GT SSC was out of stock, this had a rebate and made it cheaper as well. Yes, it's a G80, and not the G92. But I still have time to step up with EVGA's step up program.

Cons: N/A

5 out of 5 eggsThis card is worth it

Pros: I bought this card with the rebate, and when I installed it into my computer, there were no problems. Im playing any type of game and this card takes on everything I give it. I cant wait till the price drops so that I can buy another one for sli.

Cons: Only thing I dont like about this card is the price, but then again, every 640 8800 gts has almost the same price, if not more.

Other Thoughts: Overall, Im very happy with this card.

5 out of 5 eggsNIce card

Pros: Runs everything I throw at it CS:S(130+fps), COD4,UT3(75pfs),Gears, TF2, it doesn't matter!! Runs everything on high @1650x1050 with a 30% increase on frames than my 7900G.

Cons: $$$I had to chip in with Santa on this one$$$

Other Thoughts: None at the moment, it will probably
be used for a step up once the 8900s are out, even though I have been hearing bad things about the StepUp program's customer service.

awesome card.

Cons: price dropped $30 two days after I bought it.. oh well.

Other Thoughts: gonna try crysis soon, hope it runs it on some decent settings at 1680x1050

5 out of 5 eggswow

Pros: pretty incredible how much power you can get out of this thing. any decent overclocking mobo should help you ramp this card up really high

Cons: none really

Other Thoughts: better choice than the HD2900XT IMO, and 3DMark06 likes this better than the 2900. ~12500 stock clock speeds.

5 out of 5 eggsBuy now, step up later

Pros: This is the e-Geforce 8800 GTS SSC. its basically a last ditch effort to sell off the left over 8800 GTS models. they've been modded to have 112 shader pixels instead of 96. This card performs marginally better than the g92 8800 GT 512 at resolutions higher than 1600x1000.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: I'm buying this now for a free copy of crysis and the fact that I can step up to a g92 GTS later without paying anything extra except shipping. (it will be the same price)

5 out of 5 eggsGreat

Pros: Great GFX CARD!

Counter-strike source on biggest resolution 1280x1024 everything on high runs perfect ! even when you play 16v16 on very big servers

fps stays at about 160 fps ! 16v16

Cons: It's big
Fan seems to be a little slow..

Other Thoughts: Great For Gaming!

5 out of 5 eggsIf you cant wait get this!

Pros: This is the card with the unlocked shaders. This card has 112sp vs 96sp with all the other gts's. Plus its clocked to gtx speeds. Keeps up with a 8800 gt KO. I can run Crysis at 1680x1050 all high settings very comfortably, no slow down. Only uses 1 6 pin plug unlike gtx's
Mine overclocked to 625/1890 and stays around 73 at full load.

Cons: Its not as cheap as a 8800 GT. And the GT keeps up with this card till very high resolutions kick in. Still cant find one though. If you buy used forget about step up program. New GTS coming out in December. But I couldnt wait and not play crysis, duh/.

Other Thoughts: To me this card made the most sense even though the GT is cheaper. Lets face it. This was like a nice down payment on a new 8900 GTS through the Step Up Program and I have plenty of time to trade in on one when they come out December 3rd. It is estimated to knock the socks off for sure the GT and possibly on par with the Ultra! So why buy a GTX when its extinction is coming? and why wait for a GT with no clue when they will be in stock again? You decide. This card offers all the performance I need to tide me over till I can play Crysis on Very High no sweat
