5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: This Card is great. it runs everything i through at it although i can't run crysis on high. games look and run great even at 1440x900 which is my monitors max. if you are looking to upgrade

Cons: Neweggs price is a little higher than what i paid, but the What you get for their price is still a great deal. The card runs a bit hot.

Other Thoughts: With EVGA's Step up program and Warranty, this deal becomes that much better

5 out of 5 eggsO.o

Pros: OC to 735/1765 and Memory clock to 2044. Runs crysis no sweat. I can imagine how great SLI would work. Look no further this is the card for you.

Cons: Can't overclock past 750. Even though you wont need it really...

Other Thoughts: AMD 6000+ 3.37Ghz, 8GB Mushking Ram 4-4-4 Timings, 150GB RaptorX, 8800GT SSC, Plays Crysis at 32 FPS in 1152x864 With AAx4 and Everything Very High. Will SLI soon to play at 1650, but i doubt it will make a difference, It already looks like the Jungle DX10 videos they had shown before. Don't look any further. Buy this, upgrade to 9 Series if you feel like it with the 90 day step up program.

1 out of 5 eggsDon't exist

Pros: Great Core and Memory Clock

Cons: Not in stock at all. Is NVIDIA going to release another batch at all? The 9 series is coming out in Febuary.

Other Thoughts: Best card out right now.

5 out of 5 eggsOutstanding

Pros: Powerful, flawlessly runs games (such as ET:QW, Battlefield 2142, and especially BioShock) at max settings at extremely smooth frame rates. I also have a TV tuner card and my old video card showed choppy, static picture. This card seems to handle all types of TV signals with ease, excellent picture quality and smoothness. Fan is one of the quietest in my case but I'm sure that opinion/luck varies.I have not had any heatsink problems, no artifacts, only one shut down after several days of non-stop 8-10 hour vacation play. The manufacturer has fixed the fan speed problem on new models and offers a BIOS update for existing cards.

Cons: HOWEVER, I have excellent air cooling directed at the card (Vantec Spectrum PCI fan works great directly below; I have other fans in the area as well). The main problem with the cooler isn't cooling the card itself, it's that the cooler dumps heat into your case. Unlike cramping double coolers that blow hot air out the back of your case from their second slot, this card pushes hot air out its side at an angle toward the back of your case. Have exhaust fans ready or prepare for a warm up. Rearranging my fans to optimize air across the card/exhaust easily fixed the problem for my setup.

Other Thoughts: My system includes an EVGA 680i, 2GB Corsair Dominator 1066Mhz, Core 2 Duo E6850 @ 3.8GHz, 150GB 10k Raptor, this 8800 GT SSC, Ultra Grid case with a pile of fans, 20.1" monitor - unlike others, have had no problem running tough games at top settings/liquid frames, no artifacts or crashes. Great card, got for less than here but worth the cost either way.

5 out of 5 eggsBest Card you can get

Pros: Some people can say it doesnt run Crysis on high, but it does on mine with no lag at all. This card is amazing for this price.

Cons: Hasn't overheated, but the fan runs at 29% all the time and doesnt go faster (manufacturer issue). Its recommended to download riva_tuner to solve the problem until they come out with a new driver.

Other Thoughts: Make sure your case is big enough because this card is BIG. And a good cooling system for the case would be best because it gives off lots of heat.

4 out of 5 eggsAwesome but with problems

Pros: Runs almost all current games at full res on high settings excluding Crysis of course. Amazing price and amazing performance. Lifetime Warranty!

Cons: Artifcating and screen freezes. The card seems to run hot and locks up/artifacts on me after 20-30 mins of gameplay in cerain games, without any overclocking(i.e.Bioshock/Crysis)

Other Thoughts: Check out the Evga Forums.

5 out of 5 eggsThe best card you can get!

Pros: This card is a beast! It overall beats my previous SLI BFG OC 2x 7800GTX 256MBs. My 3DMark03 went up at least 6k, in 3DMark05 went up around 2500 points, and in 3DMark 06 it went up close to 6k, but SLI might of not been working. Either way, it def beats my previous setup. Have had no problems, no instability.

Cons: Only thing i can say is it came with low fan speed of 29%. Simple riva install and u can increase this, raising the speed and lowering load temps.

Other Thoughts: If you can find one, get it, its the best bang for buck card.

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing

Pros: This card is powerful and cheap. Can run crysis on all highs with no lag!

Cons: Can run hot if you dont have sufficient cooling. Make sure you have some program for controlling your video card fan speed otherwise it will run at 29% and cool next to none.
