5 out of 5 eggsAmazing Card

Pros: Amazing card, there is nothing more that needs to be said.

Cons: Price is high, for near the same performance you can get a MUCH cheaper product, but at high end you pay a lot for small gains.

Other Thoughts: Price is steep, but this is a card that will last you a LONG time, also it is on the large side, and if your PCIe slot isn't clear on it's underside (PCI slot blocking it) then the card will not fit.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent Card

Pros: Fast.. Fast and Fast. No problem playing any of my games. This card came with Crysis and all I can say is it was one of the best games I have played thanks to this card. I didn't get the OC version because if my wife knew how much this card was before I bought it she would have thought I lost my mind.

Cons: Pricy but worth it.

5 out of 5 eggsCrazy Fast Super Stable Black Beauty!

Pros: Completely Flawless card for sure the best card I've ever owned because It is so stable you get some of them other fast Nvidia and ATI card and they break like a day after you get them not this one this one is built so good so stable runs a little hot compare to the other card buts it never shuts down or affects any thing by running a little hot.

But for sure if you want a fast stable video card buy this thing.

Cons: Nothing.

Other Thoughts: Life time Warranty you can't go wrong.

Oh yeah Turn you Filters up to 16x and 16x to make it really pump out the beautiful graphics.

5 out of 5 eggsone HUGE card FAST and STABLE

Pros: Plenty fast. Runs reasonably warm, not egg frying temperature. Driver seems very stable. No crash of any kind.

Cons: This card is HUGE, make sure you got room in your case. There is like a 1/4" clearance between the back of the card and the stack of hard drives in my case. Power utilization goes up by 80 watts in gaming.

Other Thoughts: Asus P5N32-E SLI, Core 2 Quad 2.4, Vista 64, Corsair XMS 2x2GB. Lian-Li aluminum case. MB temperature averages 42-46C.

5 out of 5 eggsRuns Great Vista Home Premium

Pros: DX10 compatible, fast, came with Crysis, runs other resource intensive games (UT III, Jericho, etc) just fine. Got the Vista Prem. combo deal.

Cons: None to speak of. If you find it a bit pricey, well, this is the coste tof feed your gamiing addiction.

Other Thoughts: Asus M2N 32 SLI Dlx, 2GB RAM, AMD 6000+ X2, Sound Blaster Audigy XFi Gamer. 650 W Power Supply.

This board replaced an EVGA 7950 512mb board (which I put into a 2nd similar system to convert it to a 7950 SLI system).

All I can say is that the single 8800GTX runs better than the 7950 SLI in identical mb, same RAM. (The SLI box even has AMD 6400+ X2).

If you have an AMD processor, be sure to download the Dual Core Optimizer.

If running Vista, you will need to download a patch from Microsoft that addresses Dual Core issues in games.

5 out of 5 eggsLarge and incharge

Pros: I upgraded from an ATI 1950 GT. I could not decide at first if I wanted to settle on the 8800 GT or go with the GTX. Finally I bit my lip and got the GTX only because the 8800 GT's are reported to run very hot. Not wanting to mess with after market heatsinks I think I made the right choice. Cyrsis, 2142 and Oblivion all run with no lag at Max settings. Cant beet that!

Cons: Price is still pretty high. Card takes up 2 PCI slots which is a lot of room in your case. Especially if you wanted to run SLI

Other Thoughts: Im glad I went with this card. I am a gamer and I want high resolutions with high FPS. 8800 GTX delievers. Current system EVGA 8800 GTX, MSI 680i SLI MB, Q6600, 2 gigs Corsair XMS2 4-4-4-12, X-FI Xtreme Music.

5 out of 5 eggssli'd this card and xfx card

Pros: its solid, it seems to be better at holdng frames better than my old xfx thats a year old, performance is better on my abit quadGT mobo, than my 680i mobo

Cons: sli with 8800gtx gave poor performance and flux frames, crysis got 35 frames with 4x AA,
but only for a few seconds and fluxed from 5 to 35 on any settings with very high on

Other Thoughts: sli on a msi 680i mobo sucks my benches was between 12 and 13 thousand on 3dmark06w/ 169.25 driver/specs E6600 o/c'ed to 3.0,
700w toughpower psu,250 seagate,
patroit 667 o/c'ed to 800

5 out of 5 eggsVery good card

Pros: Very easy to install, even though I am using a case that is over 5 years old. Runs like a champ on my 500W power supply. I have not been able to make this card even stutter, no matter what I throw at it. Does not run super hot even my cramped, old, case.

Cons: None. If a stooge like I can install and run the card without having to re-jigg the case and add extra cooling, I'd say it's a winner.

Other Thoughts: I was previously running 2 7300GT cards in SLI, and this card (obviously) blew away the performance of the 2 cards. I may install more cooling fans, for good measure, but it has not been needed thus far.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: great performance

Cons: high price

Other Thoughts: you guys are crazy buying this card, the new gts g92 series is very very close performance wise and alot cheaper.the only reason i would buy another gtx is if i wanted to run sli.(i bought mine way before the new gts came out).it is a great card and is still slightly better than the gts but the price is just not worth it.

4 out of 5 eggsGood card, still kicking one year later

Pros: Awesome performance at a great price. Logged 2600+ frames per second maximum.

Cons: Heat. Had to replace the factory fan almost immediately - it wasn't keeping my costly investment cool enough (heat = damage. high heat, short life)
Don't let people lie to you. This card will lag in many games such as battlefield 2142 and crysis when the settings are on medium or low. This will always happen in very high resolutions such as 1600x1200.

Other Thoughts: Great card. I Removed the original fan and installed a Zalman GPU cooler. I would suggest either doing the same or water cooling. Thinking about buying another to SLI.
