Sweet Card, great price
- Pros: Great card for the money, upgraded from a 8600gts to this and can't believe how big of a jump it was. I haven't OC'd it yet, probably wont, but from what I see this card has an even greater potential.
- Cons: Maybe fan noise? Maybe only because computer is a foot from my bed, though only time i hear it is on startup and sometimes when i crank it up all the way when i was playing with some settings.
- Other Thoughts: Overall great card, just picked up another to go SLI. Going to be first time cant wait to see what it puts out!
Pretty sweet
- Pros: The card runs great cod 4 max graphics 125 fps constant
over 200+ in tf2 its a big card had to move my hd out into a new slot for this beast
- Cons: the evga precision is sweet but the fan does get noisy under a loud run fan at 75 percent and my frames have been dipping lately in cod 4
- Other Thoughts: ebga the only way to go im taking this crd in a month and upgrading to a 280 for what is supposed ot be a 150 dollar difference which wont seem so bad when i spend another 150 or so
good
- Pros: great video card went from a 7900gt, and wow what a difference. i stepped up from my 8800gts to a 260 now but i loved the 8800
- Cons: fans always set to 40% have to manually adjust it if you want it to go higher. my gtx 260 runs at the same idle temps as this card.
- Other Thoughts: love evga and newegg :)

Introduction
The GeForce 8 series offers a complete family of graphic cards ready to meet the unique needs of their users. The series features a unified DirectX 10 Shader Model 4.0 & Open GL 2.0 architecture to produce stunning 3-dimensional graphics and lifelike textures. With 10-bit per channel output, the 8 series produces higher fidelity color. The cards support SLI and NVIDIA's PureVideo HD.
The 8800GTS is rock-solid and delivers blistering video and graphic performance. Its 754 million transistors can handle anything your games throw at it. Accelerated processors offer faster video and other high-demand graphic effects. 128 stream processors are fed by 512MB of 256-bit GDDR3 SDRAM running at 1944MHz to deliver a full 2560 x 1600 resolution.
The 678MHz core clock keeps everything moving and the 400MHz RAMDAC and twin dual-linked DVI let you output to multiple and large monitors. Video can be streamed via HDTV or S-Video outputs. The 8800GTS blows past the competition for best-in-class graphic performance at an affordable price.
