NVIDIA's ninth generation series of graphics cards combines cutting edge technology and advanced capabilities for best-in-class performance. The 9800GX2 is the solution for all your most demanding graphic needs. It’s Microsoft Vista ready and has a PCI-Express 2.0 interface for the latest system. The 9800 supports Quad SLI to seriously ramp your performance options with up to four graphics for insane flow rates.

Support for DirectX 10, Shader Model 4.0, OpenGL 2.1 and NVIDIA's PureVideoHD render even the most intense environmental effects or HD DVD video with brilliant clarity. The card's core clock runs at 675MHz as it takes the burden of pixel crunching off of your CPU. Data surges through the 9800's 256 stream processors which are fed by 512MB of 256-bit GDDR3 memory operating at 2100MHz.

Twin dual-linked DVI and 400 MHz RAMDAC lets you display 2560 x 1600 resolution video and graphics on even the largest monitors. In addition to supporting multiple monitors, uncompressed digital streams can also be output via the HDMI port. The 9800 delivers fluid frame rates and HD video with solid performance. If you're serious about your video – and if your motherboard can take it, the 9800GX2 can dish it out.

5 out of 5 eggsThis Card

Pros: What can I say!SLI in one card, beautiful graphic's with plenty of speed.Just make sure that you are running a QUALITY processor! One card doing job of two, leaving room for sound card and hi-def tv tuner card.24 hour tech support ,so when you overclock them to death you can get confirmation that the card is burnt and start your cross shipped rma on the spot!

Cons: Overclocking to the gill's really knock's down life of card! But yet I cant keep my foot off the accelerator!!!

Other Thoughts: No more than a couple a day, make's me to tired!

5 out of 5 eggsNO LAGG

Pros: NO LAGG, it runs any game i have on highest settings, no lagg, but i did drop to 60 Hz refresh rate just to be sure. CoH, Sins, EAW, HW2, they all run flawlessly. it really outshines my old 8600GTS. oh, and it doesnt lagg, at all... well, actually, i did manage to make it lagg, see below

Cons: SupCom: Forged Alliance, highest settings, 1k units, largest map, it started lagging really bad, not sure if this is card or processor, but 2.4 core2quad... could be either... am getting a 2.66 soon

Other Thoughts: dropped in price insanely fast after i bought, but thats norm for the hardware world. i highly recommend this nonetheless, am going for SLI as soon as possible. thats gonna be fun... ner

4 out of 5 eggsFast Fast Fast

Pros: Fast card EVGA has best warranty - support forums.

Cons: Heat - puts out a lot, must have good ventilation case cooling.

Other Thoughts: Would rate 5 but sli driver issues in some games, apps that locks system up in Vista 64. Not EVGA'a fault at all.

4 out of 5 eggsGood card, terrible drivers.

Pros: Lots of potential, relatively low power comsumption, already overclocked. Looks real nice in a system if you have two of these.

Cons: As of right now, I have two of these running quad sli and honestly, it sucks. The drivers are killing the performance of this system. I have a pretty top spec computer, Intel Core 2 Extreme QX9650 overclocked, 4GB DDR3 at 1600, 790i EVGA board, Vista x64 home premium, the works, and yet, it games like Crysis, these cards still choke a bit. At high setting, 1920x1600, getting high 30's to low 40's range, but it does drop in frame rate consistently. AOC runs at a measley 43 FPS at max settings and 2560x1600, not even with Directx 10 enabled.

Other Thoughts: I believe if you turn of sli and run some games on just one card, that'll improve performance immensley, haven't tried it yet, too busy. The cards are noisy when you first turn on the system, but settle down a bit, so noise isn't too much of an issue. These take up a lot of room, on my 790i board, they take all most of the room, leaving only the last slot for a soundcard. Hold off on buying a second like I did till the drivers are finally sorted out. EVGA still makes a quality product, too bad Nvidia hasn't fixed the drivers.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: i can have 5 million instances of solitaire running!!
i can play crysis and have fun

Cons: as soon as i bought it for $600 it went down.
like 10 1/2 inches long

Other Thoughts: too big for 3 way SLI on my evga 780i in my antec 900 but thats only science fiction.

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing Card

Pros: This thing plays crysis, bioshock and blu-ray at such speed and quality it's better than seeing things live.

Cons: none at all

Other Thoughts: GPU1 runs around 72 C and GPU2 runs around 70 C. will definitely heat up your southbridge so plan on doing some extra mods on your board cooling setup.

5 out of 5 eggsTotal Satisfaction

Pros: Awsome card! As others stated VERY HOT CARD. I have two of these running in a CMStacker EVO whith 8 120mm fans in the box, I really need to water cool my system now. I do need to run both fans at 100 when loading them as the create a molten lava sandwich in quad SLI. I have them running Crysis at 1920x1200 very high 44-60 FPS locked, they will not do over 60 not sure if this is a cap in crysis or not (I have not cared to look). Im not to happy with current or beta drivers as I do not belive they are tapping the full potential of these cards or quad SLI in general. OverClocking headroom it prety good 725/1875/1000

Cons: Only the same cons as buying a Ferrai...

Other Thoughts: Quad SLI dose not support Dual screens so if you have two screens you will find your self kicking off the quad SLI feature in the driver, but one of these is powerful enough to run almost anything you can throw at it.

4 out of 5 eggsPretty Good..

Pros: Fast card, runs all games at max settings @ 1920x1200 at over 100fps (not crysis of course :P)..

Cons: Wasn't that much of an improvement from 2x 8800GT's... And it's not gonna be the fastest card on the market for much longer.

Other Thoughts: I should have waited for the GTX 280 (COMES OUT JUNE 17th!!), guess its time to sell this puppy before its too late.

5 out of 5 eggsSMOKING FAST

Pros: Great card smoking fast play crysis at 1400x1024@40 plus fps
Faster then both my 8800gtx in sli worth every penny!
If you can afford this card get it

Cons: Big card, heat, is as big as 8800gtx length but a bit thicker
Make sure your case is well ventilated and big enough, I have a thermal take armor full size case so plenty of room and ventilation, ended up putting in 2 extra fans on the side to keep heat down plus running card @80 percent fan with evga persision(great program btw)

Other Thoughts: great card

4 out of 5 eggsWonderful performance.

Pros: 50 FPS in Crysis on high detail, 220 FPS in Eve Online Premium, and 120 FPS in Supreme Commander max detail. All at 1920x1200

Cons: This card runs HOT. Note that updating to the latest drivers upon install is a must. Also download the EVGA Precision tool to take manual control of the fan and crank it up to 55% idle, and 90-100% when playing games. The base idle temp with auto-fan control is 70c, getting into 90c. If you crank the fan to 100% it sits at 65c under load (Crysis high detail 1920x1200)

Other Thoughts: Make sure you have a high end board and CPU to feed this monster. I’m running a EVGA 790i Ultra, Intel Q9300, and 8gb of DDR3 1333. This card is not the bottle neck on this system ;)
