Not Running GTA nor COD
- Pros: Could beat a squirrel to death with it.
Could make a great bookend. My counterstrike: Source FPS went up! Yay!
- Cons: it's 10.5" long and I had to RREAALLLLLLYY squeeze it into my already assembled rig to make it fit. THEN the little bar that moves and holds all my cards in place (replacing the screws that used to hold the cards still in their slots) does not move any more. Hello screws! This card is two-cards-deep and blocks something that allows the clip thing to close.
Oh. I almost forgot. This card came with a FREE COPY of COD:World At War. Thing is... I can't play it! I have a core i7 system with 3Gigs of RAM and this Vid Card... and I can't play COD because it's Choppy and slow.
I bought this to play GTAIV and... yes, it's choppy too.
- Other Thoughts: I updated the drivers, did driver-cleaning with various programs, tried different drivers and overclocking applications, all with the same results: Either a Blue Screen of Death (d'oh!), saying that the driver is stuck in an infinite loop, or a choppy, slow, un-fun gaming experience.
Get What You Paid For.
- Pros: Awsome card.. Comes with everything you need. Play at max with everything I throw at it. Two of this should keep you going until a newer model comes out. This can keep up with GXT 295 just fine to me.
- Cons: None.. I had to order a second one. Running two.. Thats should answer your cons. Lolz..
- Other Thoughts: My System: Cooler Master Cosmos-S, Windows XP Pro 64Bit, Core i7 920, EVGA Intel X58, [2x] EVGA GeForce GTX 280 Superclocked, Corsair XMS3 12GB (2x6GB), Zalman CNPS 9700 [Idle 27/Load 50], Corsair 1000W PSU, WD VelociRaptor 300GB.
Awesome Video card
- Pros: powerful enough can runs 1920X 1200 res with max out setting on most of games on the market.
- Cons: Huge compare with my old 9800GT 9.5" and GTX 280 10.5"
- Other Thoughts: 3dmark scre 18542
