5 out of 5 eggsNice performance boost

Pros: Great performance boost and it doesn't run that hot at all.
Allowed me to play games that were almost impossible with my older card.

Cons: Only issue I have is its size, but I knew that when I made the purchase. Make sure your computer case will fit this beast.

Other Thoughts: Would definitely recommend this product.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome

Pros: This card is sweet. Very fast. Does not run very hot at all. Great OC software included. It fit in my case, thats a pro. Very noticeable performance jump over my old 8800 GTS.

Cons: Yeah she's pretty big, make sure you have room for it.

5 out of 5 eggsMost excellent!

Pros: This card is most excellent, my games are smooth as silk playing with my monitor's native resolution of 1920x1200. These cards run at a real nice temperature too for being clocked so high. Hardly any hitching at all in games that are notorious for it, and very consistent framerates. EVGA 90-day step up program if prices on GTX 280's fall further within that time frame. I'm no "nvidiot" but I think this is worth paying a little extra for over the HD 4870 if you have the cash to spare.

Cons: None, besides being a little "large".

Other Thoughts: I consider EVGA to be the top dog manufacturer of nvidia boards, can't go wrong in choosing them quality wise. Although I am a little concerned that having to cut the UPC out of the box with scissors to send in for my rebate might put a damper on a future step-up. If that's the case, EVGA and I will probably not have such a good relationship in the future. The UPC stickers will not just peel off without being destroyed in the process.

5 out of 5 eggswow

Pros: Amazing card. I can crank up every game I have to high settings and it doesnt even flinch. Sturdy packaging, good OC software included, and decent temps, though like others have said, more beneficial to just turn the fan up manually instead of letting the card decide.

Cons: If you don't have a big case go for a smaller card.

Other Thoughts: I had a bit of a snag fitting this in my case with the toolless slots, there was a bit of plastic in the way I actually had to cut out. Keep in mind this is a huge, double slot card and plan accordingly.

5 out of 5 eggsIt's a BRICK!

Pros: I bought this thing and thought it looked huge, heard it looked huge. Got it... IT'S HUGE! But it looks so good! Got my system up and running this week, finished all my stability testing last night. So I fired up Crysis. Running with my system specs listed in "Other Thoughts" I was running an average of 50-60fps on High Settings (didn't turn AA on as i'll try that after I OC). Temps started bouncing up around 70C while I was playing, so I cranked the fan up to 100% and left it there with EVGA precision (as well as turned all the fans up to 100% on my Antec 1200). GPU temps dropped to low 50s and hung there for the rest of the gaming session.

Cons: None it really is a nice card.

Other Thoughts: Antec 1200, EVGA 750i F T W, C2Q Q6600, Thermalright TRUE 120, Mushkin 2x2GB DDR2 1000, WD Velociraptor, Silverstone DA1000w

5 out of 5 eggsFor the win is the real deal

Pros: -Excellent performance while using less heat and power than my old 8800gtx.
-More cost effective than the 280
-Card may still be overclocked on top of the factory overclocking

Cons: -Large size...make sure your case can support the length

Other Thoughts: I always buy EVGA because of their great service and support, but with this card I don't think I'll need those attributes. It installed beautifully and has been working properly almost from the start. It overclocks like a champ, and starting with the ***.79 drivers for vista-64, I've had no problems with down-clocking. It runs in reduced power mode when it should, and never lets me down in 3-D mode.

One last note: the "for the win" edition is a good choice because EVGA handpicks the cards that perform well during QA checks for this line. Some argue that it's cheaper and smarter to buy the standard 260 or 280, but I say you're taking a risk with such a decision. When you buy the "for the win" edition, you know it's been tested above and beyond the level of other cards and was chosen because of it's suitability for enhanced factory overclocking. You get what you pay for here folks!

5 out of 5 eggsEVGA For the Win!

Pros: Bought this card when it first came out due to the great things I heard about EVGA and I wanted a 200 series GPU. Well this card has been nothing short of spectacular. With the EVGA Precision OC software, and all the Nvidia features, the GTX 260 has been the best part of my first computer build.

Cons: The price, bought card when it was $459.99..but read Other Thoughts

Other Thoughts: Register this product because EVGA has come out with a reimbursement for all the people who bought the GTX 280 and 260's between June 17 and July 7th. Because I registered this card, I will recieve a $60 rebate check. EVGA rocks!
