5 out of 5 eggsGreat Card

Pros: This was a great card that I thought was a good buy. I took it out of the box and thought I wasn't going to be able to use it because of the way the output was set up but I was happy to find that there were transfer adapters in the box with the card.

I took it out of the box and put in the card. Had to move stuff around because it was so big. but i finnaly got it in.

When i fired up my computer it was a little louder but not by much. It took about 5 minutes to install and I am very happy about my purchase.

Cons: Big card. Took up a lot of space.

Other Thoughts: If I was to buy a different card at this time I would buy the Geforce gtx 280 it looks really good and for a good price.

4 out of 5 eggsA few things to remember

Pros: This card is more than adequate for most games. There were a few quirks when I put it in. For some reason afterward the internet wouldn't work, nor the sound. I figured it might be the card but it turned out I had to reinstall the drivers for the onboard devices. So I went and did a motherboard chipset and drivers upgrade anyway. Also, remember there is a power plug on the card itself that has to be plugged in.

Cons: The card, as people have noted, takes up two slots. When I couldn't get my onboard networking going, I bought a cheap PCIE network card, which helped. I was able to put back the sound card in the slot where before I had the net card.

Other Thoughts: Nothing good seems to come without some struggle, various fixes, and it is never more true than with computers and devices sometimes. Check the internet for problems others have had with their installations.

5 out of 5 eggs1/4 the price as last year!

Pros: Great cooling, easy power drain, good price.

Cons: Not the best card out anymore. About on par with the 9600 series. When I bought my first card last year they were $400.

Other Thoughts: I got this card and SLI'ed my setup. Should hold me over til Nehalem matures next year

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Card, No Accessories

Pros: $99 640 megs. Couldn't pass up owning this one. Tested several games on it already, no hiccups at all.

Cons: See all those niffty things that "Might or Might Not" come with the card?

Well mine definetly came with nothing but the card.

Not even the drivers came with it. I was so glad I had a rail cheater on hand. Latest drivers are easy to get at NVIDIA.

Other Thoughts: Well worth purchasing!
