No extras - update
- Pros: Great card. Set up with connectors I borrowed from a friend. (see cons)
Cheap but works great! I can run my games with some high settings now and get "dang" decent framerate. Would be pretty amazing with 3-way-SLI, but I don't think I'll do that just yet.
EVGA was happy to send me the connectors I needed. (See cons and other thoughts)
- Cons: Didn't come with any extras; no documentation or any sort of cables came with it. Just the card in a white box, as I stated in my previous review.
- Other Thoughts: EVGA has great and friendly customer support who seems to actually know their product. There was no hastle at all getting them to send me the proper cables I need. Just waiting for them to arrive now.
I'll be sticking with EVGA for my GPU purchases from now on, and I'll give them favour when buying motherboards or anything else they may make.
Note for EVGA: Make cheaper Intel i7 ready 3-way-SLI motherboards. D:
No extras.
- Pros: Amazing card from what I've heard. Amazing upgrade from my nVidia 7300LE. Haven't actually used it, but it seems to be in working condition.
- Cons: No 4-to-6 pin PCI-E converters, and thus I cannot use the card yet.
- Other Thoughts: Came in a plastic box with just the card. No documentation or any sort of extra at all, unless packing peanuts count.

Manufacturer Response:Hi, Please contact us directly at 888-880-3842 so we can provide you with the PCIe converter. Thanks, Jacob
Crysis is a Pig!
- Pros: Still a great price. Very cool looking. Plays all games with video knobs on 11......except Crysis! I just bought two of these to replace the 8600's I bought last summer in hopes that I could dial up everything to MAX. Crysis defaulted everything to HIGH with no ability to tweak settings higher.
Okay...I'm running an E8400 @ 3.0 ghz with 2 gigs of ram on a 680 MSI board. What gives? Is it the game itself? Or is it my other components?
Bottom line is that these cards are sure to drive all other games I've got, or will get for some time to come.
- Cons: None
- Other Thoughts: I purchased a Rosewill 850 watt PSU to feed these cards. My 650 watter only had two 4-pin PCIe plugs, and with an adapter (I know...not a good idea) would'nt even boot. After installing the bigger PSU and hitting the GO button, 5 GFI circuits in my house tripped, the circuit my computer is on stayed live. I'm not an electrician, but this house is only 1 year old! Guess I'll have to get someone to install higher amperage GFIs???
