Pros: I'm a long-time, dedicated EVGA user. I always recommend them as the #1 nvidia board partner for graphics but lately they seem to have had a run of bad cards and this latest thing about warranty only valid with registration has really gotten me steamed.

Cons: I bought this card for a fellow gamer as a birthday present back in July (about 6 months ago). It died around December, a truly hardcore death, computer lockup while watching TV and never once rebooted successfully. Swapped out for an old evga 7900 GS and it booted on the first try.

Other Thoughts: EVGA RMA process and service is always excellent, but this new procedure of only honoring lifetime warranty with registration is reprehensible. I stopped purchasing BFG when they started doing that, and I may have to do the same with EVGA. I do not appreciate you only honoring your commitment to your customers when they register with your website. As someone who builds systems for many people it is often impossible for me to register their parts - and what of the ethical implications of registering as "mine" something that belongs to someone else? What do I do when someone comes back to me to help them process an RMA because I was the original purchaser and system builder (with the receipts) but I have to tell them they don't have a warranty on their hideously expensive video card because the product was never registered with EVGA? This isn't how you do business. Your policy is bad and you should feel bad.

Pros: Excellent card have had no issues whatsoever thus far. plays everything maxed out on my Samsung 52" LN52A650A without ghosting. what more could you ask.

Cons: didn't pick up 2 at the same time.

Pros: Worked right out of the box. Easy to install and lets me run anything I throw at it. Supports Phyx as well which is cool. Will eventually buy another one of these to run in sli!

Cons: Non so far!
