Loving Life
- Pros: Great FPS on even the Cryengine, seems to chew up and spit everything out I give it. The card is fairly quiet and have had no issues since day 1.
- Cons: It is a lil big, but I haven't seen one equal to or better that isn't. I had to rethink my airflow setup so that way I wouldn't risk trapping heat in the lower portion of my case.
- Other Thoughts: EVGA has always given me a reliable and stable product. I wouldn't really be able to comment on whether or not they have good support, I have never had to use it. I am not a big fan of OC, I am content with the results I have. I did play around with the tool that it came with and was able to OC it 10%. The card was stable and worked just fine, the game and benchmark I ran both showed improvment. However, visually I could not tell a difference between 135 FPS and 147. So I turned the OC off and left it alone ever since.
Kicked it after 2 months >.<
- Pros: The card was a huge replacement for my 9800gt. It came out of the box guns blazing! Keep reading :(
- Cons: Pretty large in size but it is a good thing if you have good air flow. However after only 2 months of game play it completely flat lines.
- Other Thoughts: The only reason why I purchased this card was because of the rumors of great customer service that EVGA provides. I will be incontact with them today. Hopefully they meet up to the expectations of the gamers that they bring smiles to.
excellent buy
- Pros: Card works excellent, doesn't skip a beat. I can run pretty much anything gamewise on full graphics and quality, just as well as doing graphics work with no problem at all
- Cons: No real cons at all with it, only thing I had to do is manually download the windows 7 drivers rather than what came in the box with the card
- Other Thoughts: Just a head's up for anyone buying the card, make sure you have a case that'll fit it and keep it cool. The card itself is huge, as should be expected but the picture can be deceiving. I had to do some custom fitting on my case to get it to fit, and put in some extra fans just as a precaution to keep it cool right along with turning up the fan speed some in EVGA precision.
