4 out of 5 eggsNot really OpenGL 3.0

Pros: - Very good preformance for the cost
- Decent power concumption

Cons: - The card only takes up one bracket, but the fan casing will cover the next bus, so it effectivly takes up 2 slots.
- Does not actually support OpenGL 3.0, just 2.0

5 out of 5 eggsCan't Tell

Pros: I can only say that the manufacturer is very good. Construction is fantastic.

Cons: The fan is horrendously loud. However, it only goes loud during the boot sequence. I am yet to see how it behaves during gameplay.

Other Thoughts: I should've found out if my MB could process 256 bit. Mine only goes up to 128, so this card is not running at its full potential. I am waiting for the i7 to hit 3GHz unaltered. I am not a fan of overclocking, so thats why I'll wait. That way Windows 7 and the i7 will meet in my future build.

5 out of 5 eggsAWESOME so far

Pros: The card is *almost low profile.... The length is a very precarious squeeze into my surprisingly-roomy Antec mid-tower, but the card is modestly thin. I think it would fit most desktop cases.

Performance on this card is a HUGE boost over my 8600 GTS (which I had actually been quite happy with).

Last, but not least, it is EVGA. Admittedly, I am very loyal to companies that sell me great products that work. After a PNY and some other graphics companies' cards, mostly made by ATI, I have been surprised by the overall quality and endurance of EVGA graphics cards. This is my third in four years, and all of my old cards are still running strong in machines built from old parts for parents who need machines for school and such.

Cons: It is a little long, but I can say that about all the new cards on the market. I wish they'd just sell a solid 256 mb card with blazing memory, like 100 stream processors, and like 512 bit bandwidth, and then they could make it small enough to cut 4 inches off the length. Would that be too expensive to make? I don't see why.

4 out of 5 eggsNot bad at all

Pros: The price is great, the Resolution of games it`s playable is excellent. Call of Duty World at War runs very smoothe. I Upgraded from a 7800 GT, and ran that around 30-40 on low, now running about 40-50 on high. Which is great, BF2 is of course maxed out, Company of Heroes is killer with this Card. 60+ frames
Fraps is included.
Good to overclock, low heat.
FAST! for 80 bucks plus rebate? ha!

Cons: Only has 48 Stream Processors.
Isnt a 9800 GTX

You will not play Crysis on high.

Other Thoughts: People admit that this card is kind of big and clunky.

All video cards are. As long as you have room for your last card, you should be fine.
This is a great card for someone who is on a budget and is trying to keep up with the times.

Try it, plus EVGA has the STEP UP

4 out of 5 eggsPretty good, for now.

Pros: Received As a gift, Easy to install, Free full version of Fraps included in driver disk, overclocking tools provided by EVGA.

Cons: Driver Disk's Drivers were unable to install the drivers, they didn't detect the Card, so I had to download them from the website, it is a bit loud as well.

Other Thoughts: Incredible framerates on BF2, Crysis, etc.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Card For The Cost

Pros: This card was part of my very first build. Got it on sale with free shipping. Sweet. The card was for a build I did for my daughter. She plays some online game and told me she can now crank up the settings in the game and it runs very smooth.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: Alright, this is not a high end card but it was for my first build for my daughter and the only game she plays occasionally is Atlantica. The game plays just fine and my daughter is happy. She also does post processing with her digital photos and she is satisfied with that. Happy daughter, happy father. Enough said.

3 out of 5 eggs

Pros: ok performance for the price, no problem to play crysis warhead, COD 4

Cons: the installation driver disk sucks, have to download from it's website,

Manufacturer Response:

Hi,

I would like more details on what exactly was wrong with the driver disk.

Also, it is always recommended to download the latest drivers from the EVGA website.

Thanks,
Jacob

5 out of 5 eggsEpic Card, Worth Getting

Pros: This Card was EASY to get in, it took me all of 5 minuets to get it all done. (see other thoughts for my system specs) Once I got this card in, I was cranking CS:S(CounterStrike:Source) highest settings at about 130-180 on Custom Maps, and around 60-100 on Real Maps. In LotRO(Lord Of The Rings Online) on MAX Setting i get about 35-80 FPS. This card is a HUGE Upgrade from my Nvida 6150 LE.

Cons: The Driver Disk that came with it failed miserably on installing drivers.. I had to manually go to the EVGA Site and Download them there. Hardly a con, the EVGA Site was SUPER easy and user friendly and it only took moments.

Other Thoughts: I recently did a system upgrade for my 2 year old HP-Pavilion (New RAM, Video Card, and PSU) And My pc runs AMAZING now. I Purchased the RAM and Video card from Newegg, I recommend them, Great shipping, easy service, and great selection.

Specs:
Manufacturer: HP-Pavilion

Processor: AMD Athlon(tm) 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 3800+ ~2.0GHz

Memory: 3070MB RAM

Hard Drive: 293 GB

Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce 9600 GSO 512

This Card is perfect for throwing in a somewhat older PC, Its price is unbeatable, and its performance is awe filling. Defiantly worth getting. I had to upgrade my PSU to run this card (I overlooked the power usage >.<) , so, just make sure you have ALL Of the requirements BEFORE you purchase.
