- Other Thoughts: Vigor Monsoon III LT CPU Cooler

Fantastic for the most part
- Pros: The card itself is delightfully powerful, capable of running WoW and Left 4 Dead at maximum settings without any noticable stuttering. Having a card that's CUDA-capable is pretty nice for multi-processor programming practice (not to mention Folding@Home).
- Cons: The heat is tolerable if you have decent air flow in your tower (I had to buy a couple additional fans as I didn't wish to risk losing parts to it, though). However, whenever the card is put under any variety of stress, such as running a game or CUDA-capable program, it emits a very persistent screech which is noticable even during desktop-level music. This does appear to be a common problem for many people buying the 285, and it significantly detracts from my enjoyment of it.
- Other Thoughts: If you don't mind the sound and will put it to good use, this card is definetely worth the money. If you won't use CUDA, probably would be better off going with something a bit smaller.
Meh...
- Pros: When it works right, it works great.
- Cons: Right now I play a lot of WoW and this thing... should blow everything out of the water, right? While flying around on a FP or on a mount the FPS drops to, sometimes, 1. It gets choppy and crashes the game.
- Other Thoughts: i7 920, 6GB OCZ XMP RAM, GTX 285, etc.

Manufacturer Response:Hi, Can you please remove all NVIDIA drivers, then reinstall the 185.85 drivers from the EVGA website? Also please remember that WoW is primarly CPU bound, so it could indicate another issue within the system. Thanks, Jacob
