Other Thoughts: Good deal for upgrading an old machine that wont see a lot of hard work. I installed two of these and it speeds things up nicely moving from on board graphics in one PC and an old AGP card in the other.

Pros: Excellent graphics upgrade for older systems
512MB memory
Fanless (one less thing to break)
AGP 4x/8x card for older motherboards
Adequate driver and directX 9/10 provided on install CD
Both VGA and DVI output plus a DVI to VGA converter
eVGA support

Cons: Somewhat spendy for an outdated card, though this is expected for older GPU chipsets on old AGP cards (not exactly in the primary market these days)

Other Thoughts: My first nVIDIA card. Plugged it in and installed the driver provided on the CD, which was dated for October 2008. Works great on my 6-year old desktop. No issues yet.

With 2 case fans (back/side), the on-board core temperature sensor indicates an idle temp around 50C and while running games like Far Cry (original) and Portal, 75C. The card has a GPU core slowdown threshold of 130C by default.
