2 out of 5 eggsOverheats

Pros: Runs games really well until it overheats. BF:BC2 can run at highest settings.

Cons: It idled at 46c. Then while preforming in game it shot up to 86c. The card overheated then the screen went black forcing me to shutdown.

Other Thoughts: I have plenty of airflow my amb temp is around 20c. The GPU has a set fan speed of 40%. (way to low)

5 out of 5 eggsso far so good

Pros: This thing works well absolutely no problems, I have been running it in a hackintosh and it was recognized immediately with no problems.

Cons: none so far

Other Thoughts: I got the extended warranty since it is recertified.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: They work fine

Cons: none, really.

Other Thoughts: There's a bit of a caveat: AMD systems have a very small selection of motherboards available with SLI support, and none of them that I'd be interested in. I made the mistake of buying these cards while under the assumption that AMD and Nvidia were still cozy little bedpartners. (Last time I built a system was 2007, I hadn't the need to pay attention to such minor details!)

in short: AMD = Crossfire, Intel = SLI, that is, unless you own one of those specialty boards, or the x58 intel mobos.

1 out of 5 eggsBLAH!

Pros: It matches my red LED fans. It handled some of what I threw at it.

Cons: I ran DOA:O on top settings, and it completely failed.. I keep very low temps in my case (never over 42C) and there was no reason for this. Now there's lines all over my screen at all times. Checked MB, RAM, PSU, monitor, connections, and used HDMI as well as S-vid... Nothing...

Other Thoughts: That's what I get for buying an OEM GC... RMA'ing as we speak (but oh look, I can't return it, and after 30 days I won't be able to replace it if the 2nd one craps out)... Don't make the same mistake. Shell $100 more and get an OEM HDD or case or DVD drive instead... Less chance of failure.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: I ordered two of these for an sli setup. When i pulled them out of the box the looked pretty much brand new.
They've took everything i've thrown at em so far.

Cons: The only con is they came different colors, one black one red. Not really a big concern for seperate machines, but for sli im RMAing one to try to get a same color

Other Thoughts: So far so good

2 out of 5 eggsthanks evga 4 good customer service

Pros: they are living up to their name in customer service so please jacob and kyle disregard my 1 egg review after working out a solution to help me see why evga is top customer service.

Cons: i still say buy the new card instead of recert for warranty reasons and warranty does need to be a year not just 90 days

Other Thoughts: evga went above and beyond what they had to do to make me a happy customer, my thanks to them and sorry for the 1 egg review but i can not retract the anger i felt when my card burnt up.

1 out of 5 eggsdon't buy, dead in 130 days

Pros: it worked well while it worked, and came with wrong bios flash to SC clocks. The smoke from the card did not ruin any other components in my case.

Cons: I bought this on 5/28/2009 and it worked fine until about 24 hours ago my system wich has been stable with a evga 790i board woke me up in the middle of the night. while it was folding@home for team EVGA my card started smoking and set off the smoke detecters in my place. my system shut down i had tri-sli evga 260's. i tried the card in single slot and system would not power up past all the smoke and my pc power and cooling is running my other 2 cards (not recerts, fine for now)so instead of evga providing a reasonable recert warranty like xfx (1year) they give you this 90 day joke of a warranty! DO NOT BUY A EVGA RECERT! YOU WILL REGRET IN THE END!!

Other Thoughts: before jacob or kyle respond with some not evga's fault answer i will just say this. these cards were ran at stock speed and fail because they do not use all 100% solid state caps on their video cards, they flashed the bios incorrectly for a recert. EVGA will say anything in a reply of reviews to keep them looking good to sell more cards. fact is i got multiple evga boards and cards all with flaws and not 1 good bios update including their flagship x58 classified. I have had to rma a 280 recert to newegg going on 3 times now in less then 30 days. my 275 tri sli system gives a capacitor squeal and as of lately i am just very disapointed in all evga products and will go back to BFG cards as they never failed me like EVGA has over the last half year. DO NOT BUY EVGA RECERT CARDS! NOT WORTH THE RISK TO SAVE A FEW BUCKS. sure they work great for about 90-160 days but i need a graphics card for longer then that. esp at this price!

5 out of 5 eggsGreat card

Pros: Quiet, great bang for the buck. 3D Mark score nearly quadrupled from my 8800GTS 320MB (3K vs 11.5K)

Cons: HUGE! It was actually purchased for my girlfriends computer, but would not fit unless I cut out the HDD rack.

No extra PCI-e power adapter for those of us that have lost their spares.

Other Thoughts: I wasn't originally looking for an upgrade as I felt my gaming was decent. Moving to this card, however, has proven that the old G80 GPU just wasn't cutting it as well at 1920X1200. I play City of Heroes/Villains more often than anything else, and can finally max all settings and hold 45-60fps in outdoor settings where max settings returned about 30-40fps with the other card.
