Solid Card powerful performance great price!
- Pros: Powerful gaming card... can max out the settings on doom 3 assasins creed EVE online Mass Effect 2 etc. and runs these games at max settings and screen resolution w/ all the extras (blookm shadows etc) at an average 55 fps well it runs at 60 but sometimes drops (probably due to lag) to 50. Runs cool 40 degrees C (104 F) is the highest is goes with 3 EVE clients... Outputs to TV at 1024 X 768 (most games minimum res) instead of 800 x 600 max and the TV takes it (srry not a HD tv).
- Cons: I got two of these cards because i really liked the performance of the first but it can only handle two displays at a time... not all 3 connections at once.. so it was either both monitors or a monitor and the television... once i bought a 2nd card this was fixed. However it is a big card and the 2nd one blocks one of my sata ports (using 3 of 6 atm so no big deal).
- Other Thoughts: I have a PCI E X 16 as my primary and a PCI E X 8 as my secondary... can run 3 EVE clients on 3 screens with the game graphics setting toned down i get average 23 fps per client/screen on average... which is fine no game lag whatsoever... when running 3 clients on 2 monitors with one card instead of two graphics cards i get an average of 50-55 fps per client and can turn up the graphics... Im wondering if an sli connection (which these cards to not have/support) would allow me to crank everything up on all 3 screens? Oh well this is all far beyond my expectations.
- Pros: Well i bought this card for playing Modern Warfare 2, and it runs it at good settings not full but pretty close. It plays Left 4 Dead 1 and 2 just fine. No problems with those. This card is good for good (not best) but good game play. Good for the price.
- Cons: Was expecting more from the card. I upgraded from a 9500 GT Geforce and didnt see as much of a difference then i thought I would.
WIFES cod4 mw2 Pc works like a charm
- Pros: Runs like a charm plays Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 with ease. Movies are awesome .I have the evga GeForce GTX 260 Core 216 Superclocked Edition 896MB and I can not see 1 bit of differents in the gaming or movies between the 2. this ones a steel for the price if you need a low cost gaming pc card this is it.
- Cons: No evga sticker came with the card for the case . lol I like to deck the case out with stickers from the items i use in the build. EVGA SEND ME A DECAL <PLEASE> lol
- Other Thoughts: what i used for this cod4 mw2 build
