Good Budget Dual monitor card
- Pros: Great price for an entry level Geforce, Used for dual 22" LCD displays for Business use on a new HP tower. Small form factor is great for slim towers. Heat sink/fan does not get in the way of adjacent ports.
- Cons: Not as fast as a comparable ATI card for the price, I got higher bench marks from an ASUS EAH4650 than from the Geforce 210, but nether are going to be used for a gaming rig.
You can just hear the fan if your tower is on your desk, anywhere farther away is fine.
- Other Thoughts: I have been moving away from Geforce cards more and have been installing ATI's instead. Mainly because of power consumption, ATI's are more efficient, and faster
HTPC
- Pros: - Low power
- Cool temps - Integrated HD Audio Controller with HDMI - Very short length, fits in tightest cases - Low profile - Single slot
- Cons: - High fan noise
- Other Thoughts: It is a great card for HTPC, low power and has 7.1 audio support through HDMI, so you only need to use 1 cable. The fan spins at 100% and cannot be controlled with the software, egva tools nor Riva Tuner. If I could adjust the fan speed it would be 5 out of 5 for sure.
