Pros: 1. Runs cool
2. Different type of connections for older monitors and new
3. Overclocked vary well
4. Vram is cooled well with this cooler
5. Still ran all games fairly well for its age
6. Quiet

Cons: 1. Don't like how the cooler is attached, no springs to hold it to the card, just screws.
2. 1 of the 2 cards didn't overclock to well
3. Thermal paste was garbage, didn't do its job, odd for being a good company like EVGA
4. The box that these cards came in did not hold the card in 1 place, so the cards moved around in the box a lot
5. Have to use two slots

Other Thoughts: I ordered 2 of these cards 4 years ago, and they recently died on me from a BFG 550 Power Supply that I had problems with (Avoid them if you can, replaced the PSU 3 times with them). So that wasn't EVGA's fault, but BFG's. When I ordered these 9800GT's to run SLI, I got 1 card that had a green PCB and the other had a black PCB, kinda looked odd with a window on the case. I had these cards up until Battlefield 3 beta, and it ran BF3 on med/high settings pretty good, kept 60fps pretty much all the time on Metro, some times dipped into the 50's out side. I quit using these cards 2 years ago when I bought my HD5850 and kept the 9800GT's in another system until the wonderful BFG PSU acted up.

I still used the coolers for an GTS250 and the other 1 for a 7900GT that friends had.

Pros: Nice card...can run just about all my games on highest setting....except Crysis of corse. I need more airflow however because this thing gets HOT under load.

Cons: Runs super hot...not really a con if you have decent ventilation in your case though.

Pros: Great card runs rift on ultra and I have a older motherboard and computer so this was the best card that was compatible with my motherboard.

Cons: Little louder then my older card but I don't mind much.

Pros: This unit does what it is suppose to do.

Cons: The fan died, but I was able to secure another from EVGA

Other Thoughts: This unit is an RMA for an older mdl purchased from Newegg. While the original died, and the fan failed on the new model, the service department with EVGA is the best with which I have dealt concerning computer stuff. In spite of the glitches that I have had with boards, I will return to EVGA because I now know that I can trust them to do the utmost to make things right. To me, that's important.

Pros: Great card, for about 2 years.

Cons: Card recently failed.

Other Thoughts: When contacting EVGA they informed me that since the card was not registered within 30 days that it is no longer under warranty. They told me that this is standard among card manufacturers. However, as a system builder, I've successfully received replacements from manufacturers such as ASUS, MSI, PNY and Powercolor with cards that are quite old, up to 3 years, without ever registering. Although I think EVGA's products are generally good, I won't likely be a repeat customer since they're the first PC component manufacturer that has refused to provide a replacement on a failed product.

Pros: it works for whats needed. its a nice card plays about the same as my old 8800 gt.

Cons: its a double slot instead of single like my 8800 gt then again can't really be a con since evga replaced it for free

Other Thoughts: evga sent me one of these to replace my 8800 gt kinda disapointed since my 8800 wasn't a double slot card like this one... but i have have a full tower so it fits nice.

Pros: price

Other Thoughts: i purchased this card from newegg hoping to get a decent card at a great value. i was sadly disappointed. the first card i received had a problem with the chip-set and could not play any full motion video. i rma'd it for a replacement and was ecstatic when the second one worked perfectly.. unfortunately after five hrs of use the fan on the second card failed. forcing me to do another rma. newegg was great with there customer service and even gave me a gift card to offset the price of having to pay for the return shipping twice. i decided to spend a little extra go with a manufacturer other then evga, two faulty products in a row is just completely unacceptable. if your looking at this card i would recommend spending a lil extra and getting a gts 250 and for sure a different manufacturer.

Pros: I absolutely love this video card. I got for starcraft 2 and its runs ultra settings with ease. I tried it with a few other games I previously owned. Titans quest runs on max settings and its beautiful. Demigod looks more beautiful then ever. anti aliasing set on 16xq. Its a beautiful thing. This has to be one of best bang for your buck. I got it for 85.00 with 35.00 rebate. Must buy!!!!

Other Thoughts: Over clocks with ease. precision utilities are easy to use and the performance is a beast.
