4 out of 5 eggsWorked well for a few months, had to be replaced.

Pros: Worked well in my Asus computer.

Plug and play with installation of drivers.

RMA replacement of card was fairly quick.

Replacement is working fine thus far.
Purchase from Aug 2010
Replaced around July of 2011
Working still in 2014

Overall, it works.
Probably outdated in 2014, but still works.

Cons: Died half a year later from over heating.

Other Thoughts: I recommend to register with warranty, even though it makes no sense why I should require to do such thing when it should be guaranteed by law.

1 out of 5 eggsHorrible company to deal with

Pros: Good Card / Good RAM / Small Footprint

Cons: It only lasted 2.5 years. Never received a rebate from them. Lesson learned: Buy a product of more reputable company.

4 out of 5 eggsDecent card

Pros: Card gets great results for a great price. I can play Crysis with this card on very high for all but 1 setting. Seems to keep fairly cool. Can be loud when fan is on high. If this is not a problem for you then...

Cons: I don't know if it will be something that will last me through getting Crysis 2. While it is good for many games today It will most likely be pretty out of date soon.

Other Thoughts: If you are on a tight budget, this card is really a good buy in my opinion.

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing

Pros: easy Installation, only takes up one slot, runs very quiet, and you can't beat the price.

Cons: I honestly don't see any drawbacks on this purchase.

Other Thoughts: I was running an older generation video card before I got this and I was having frame rate issues on games such as Starcraft 2 even at lower resolution and I asked my friend who was more tech savvy than I am about this card from best buy that I was thinking about buying and he said I was crazy for shopping there and he referred me to Newegg and this particular card. I'm glad he did this is awesome. I would strongly recommend this product. When I set everything up and saw the clarity it was just like when I had first upgraded my TV to an HDTV, the difference in clarity was that drastic. Not only is it clear and crisp but the frame rates are insane. I'm running everything on ultra at 1080p and getting 50-60 FPS with no issues what so ever.

1 out of 5 eggsHorrible company to deal with

Pros: A good chip and good gRAM.

Cons: Breaks within 6 mo.
RMAing due to failure is onerous.

Other Thoughts: At this point, I've spent several hours RMA'ing this piece of grabage. Buy ... _anything_ else.

Can't get it returned.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat PhysX card

Pros: I already own an EVGA GTX275 with 2g of memory(also purchased at Newegg). I didn't want SLI or pay for the co-op 275 that still sells for a ridiculous price. Especially for an almost two year old set-up, when I am thinking of upgrading to a GTX460-470.
I never o'clock, I find it a stupid idea for a couple of frames...BUY Faster, if you need it?
I prefer smooth, stable, quiet, and low temp. The EVGA 240 gave me just that. I can't even hear it and temps have not increased at all in my case.
I bought this to use as a dedicated physics card. I installed it, downloaded the latest drivers 260.99 and it worked instantly. The drivers even picked it as the physics card with the setting on "auto". PhysX looks great and games are playing as smooth as butter on my 27" dell 1900X1200.

Cons: none.

Other Thoughts: If anyone would like to buy my EVGA 275, email me at ericscheg@msn.com. (See if this makes it past the editors)
I have never bought anywhere else but Newegg. Great prices, fast shipping, service, and a good RMA process if someone is wrong. I cannot complain.

5 out of 5 eggsDoes the Job

Pros: Does everything it says it will, uses almost no power (running it in a 300w system), and is extremely low profile.

Installation was a cinch and installing the drivers didn't take long at all.

Cons: You can get a stronger card for very little more money, but this card certainly has its niche.

Other Thoughts: The card fan ran at full speed the first time i put it in which freaked me out, but it went back to idle after I installed the drivers.

2 out of 5 eggsDied and looking for RMA from Manu

Pros: It has big fast RAM

Cons: It totally borked on me and cost me weeks of effort. RMA'ing with the manufacturer is so horrible that you're better off just buying two graphics cards. Before it borked, it worked great!

Other Thoughts: Trying to RMA with Manufacturer. And It's a pain.

5 out of 5 eggsMulti-monitors and accelerated video

Pros: This card does very well on accelerated video conversion, editing and playback using the GPU. Plays well with 2nd (non-SLI config) NVidia Card from PNY in my computer.

Cons: The GPU only supports 10.1 DirectX.

Other Thoughts: I am successfully using multiple (3) monitors between this 240 and a 9500GT. My 23 inch monitor is being driven by HDMI while the other two 19 inchers are driven from DVI connections. The driver allows the GPUs from both cards to be utilized by GPU aware video transcoders.

4 out of 5 eggsfollow-up part 2

Pros: rebate making it a 70 dollar card??

Cons: no accessories?? is that a con..

Other Thoughts: Anyways, I checked newegg and there is no evga 9800gt so i would say just get this one!

Also you have to register your product at evga within 30 days of your purchase to get the 2 year warranty as opposed to the 1 year that they have.

I like evga..
