5 out of 5 eggsso happy, I bought another one

Pros: I love these for bang/buck upgrades

I buy 1 anytime they are under 40 bucks

Cons: none really

I guess I would like nvidia to have something between 35 bucks and 95 bucks

Other Thoughts: writing both reviews at once,
1 bought 6-17-10
1 bought 8-5-10

5 out of 5 eggsBest Bang for the Buck on Rebate

Pros: takes a GTS 250 or 450 and up to beat it
has s-video (depending on your needs)
runs Black Ops

Cons: Only a good deal on rebate
has s-video (depending on your needs)
not quite, but not too loud

Other Thoughts: can evidently use 100+ watts, got them on 2 older machines with 350 - 450 power supplies without starting a fire for 6 months. had about thirty five in one

5 out of 5 eggsIt's Great

Pros: It will do any mainstream work easily (HD content you name it) and it will play most modern games on low to in-between low and medium.
*its quiet
*never hot
* over-clocked to (core - 727MHz, shader- 1817, and memory to 511)

Cons: really its not the best deal anymore i got the card almost a year ago when i wasn't much of a gamer. now i do some intense gaming and well i got an ATI Radeon HD 5850. its a great card but not he best deal anymore considering i payed 70 for it back then and its still 70 now.

Other Thoughts: i have been happy with it for the entire time i had it but now its not enough for me anymore. not one problem ever and i would like to add that just cause it has 1.5 Gb of memory doesn't git it and edge just at higher resolutions.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Card For Price.

Pros: *Quiet.
*Low price.
*Easy to install.
*Easy rebate.
*Moderately modern.

Cons: *Not all that powerful, but for the price, I can't complain.
*Overclock software is odd. Crashes my PC if I use it.
*One HDMI and VGA output. Requires adapter if you use 2 monitors.

Other Thoughts: It's a great card for it's price. I am overly satisfied with it. Don't expect something amazing though, I went from a 9800gtx and the change is very obvious. But, for $35, I have no regrets.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Card in middle level

Pros: It works great and fan is quiet. You can't find this great deal ever. It was just $25 to $30 after rebate, and rebate is received.

Cons: It will work much better if it has 96 Stream Processors.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks great

Pros: The vid card has worked great. I noticed a slight improvement over graphics from 8600 I had. I also just received the rebate in the mail from EVGA. It works well for what I wanted for this particular computer, which is just web browsing and watching videos and movies.

Cons: None so far

Other Thoughts: Newegg shipped the card quickly and without hassle. I always appreciate their service and prices. Thanks for the shellshockers and other bargains! I didn't have to contact EVGA for anything but they were prompt getting me the rebate and making it less of a hassle to get.

5 out of 5 eggsINCREDIBLE IGNORE OTHER BAD COMMENTS SEE WHY

Pros: It's cheap, comes with overclocking software, no PSU power (PCI-e powered) and single slot card. Cheap, no problems with the MIR

Cons: impossible!!!

Other Thoughts: Ignore what others say bad about this card. They are expecting a $400 card for $35, so they should notice that and the specs under details. They also have no excuse because it comes with overclocking software to make it close to a $400 card.

5 out of 5 eggsGood Buy

Pros: *Good price.
*DVI, VGA, & Video out ports
*It says 350W power supply required on box, but I'm running on 300W power supply with no problem.
*Box also says it requires 6-pin power connector, but I haven't found any power port on the card.
*Comes with overclocking utility.

Cons: *My integrated Intel GPU came with driver that enabled setting monitor brightness, contrast (DDC/CI) from PC, this doesn't, very annoying.
*Fan noise not ideal. Heat sink with no fan would have been better.
*Not for the hardcore gamer, but perfect for the casual gamer with a budget.
*You need to go online and download the latest driver/overclocking utility. The CD drivers are outdated.

Other Thoughts: *Runs Crisis at medium-1600X900 at around 25-30fps.
*Runs older games with max settings just fine.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Card

Pros: Great card. Runs cool. Had no problems installing under Windows 7.

Cons: None thus far.

Other Thoughts: I got a great $80 video card for $25 after instant and mail-in rebates, so I'm not complaining. I would highly recommend this card to anyone looking to have a decent graphics card w/o going broke.
