5 out of 5 eggsAmazing

Pros: Incredible performance, stable under OC of +100!

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Have had this card for over two years now. Ran it through almost every hard hitting game on the market and has never dissapointed. I would have loved to have gotten a second one and try my hand at SLI. I recently replaced this card with a 680 gtx but that card has not been as reliable as the 470gtx! EVGA made an amazing card back then but the 680 that is on 3rd RMA is not promising.

5 out of 5 eggsGood video card

Pros: I have had this card for a while now. I have enjoyed it so much that I have now bought another to SLI with it after about a year now. It has handled everything I have thrown at it both for work and for gaming. This is a great card.

Cons: No cons. Nvidia makes great cards with great drivers.

Other Thoughts: Excellent card. Sorry to see them deactivated.

5 out of 5 eggsBest Video Card

Pros: This video card is the best for gamers for those of you complaining are you using a EVGA motherboard because it works better with that. Im bridging 3 of these 470 gtx and they run super well. play battlefield 3 look at the tiny specks of grass and its ultra clear

Cons: NO CONS AT ALL

Other Thoughts: Computer Specks: EVGA EVGA X58 FTW3 132-GT-E768-KR LGA 1366, Video Card: 3x 470 GTX, Tower: Coolermaster HAF, Battery Supply: Coolermaster 1200w Silent Pro Gold, Intel I7-3930k Sandy Bridge(3.2ghz-3.8 Turbo Boost), Window 7 Professional,4x 4gb ddr3, 23 inch Xerox LCD monitor (Discontinued)

4 out of 5 eggsRMA experience

Pros: Runs cooler than the GTS 250 I upgraded from, peaks at 85C in BFBC2 compared to 105C on my old GTS 250. Can play with settings maxed out and still achieve 50-60FPS. Looks great on my 28" Hanns-G monitor.
Overall great bang for the buck.

Cons: The first card started artifacting on day one. It would also cause system instability such as loss of video driver and screen freeze crashes. It was hard to diagnose the problems I was having. Even reinstalled Win7.

Other Thoughts: The RMA replacement works perfectly and my system is stable again. EVGA charges $29 for "advance RMA" which made the replacement easy. However, it may take you several attempts to get them agree to an RMA.

1 out of 5 eggs6th and 7th DEAD EVGA cards

Pros: Absolutely none

Cons: I received 2 of these cards after RMA ing a 280 and 285gtx. I thought it was a good deal because I got 2 identical better cards as replacements.neither card will run for more than a few minutes now, I got 2 days of gaming with really loud fan noise, now my computer restarts constantly and the other one won't even turn on.

Other Thoughts: I have had 6 EVGA cards fail on me, 100% failure rate.

for RMAs you have to pay shipping AND wait more than a week.

I have 1,000watt PSU, that isn't the problem.

I truly hate EVGA, I am tired of wasting time and money with them.

5 out of 5 eggsWhy buy anything else... why?

Pros: -runs well
-graphics are amazing
-no glitches after two months of usage with a custom OC
-Easily OC-able
-Many ways to connect

Cons: -LARGE (make sure you have a large enough case)
-Only Micro HDMI! (it comes with an adapter, but I just got a separate micro HDMI to HDMI 1.4 cable for cheap)
-ONLY ISSUE, if you are starting off fresh (IE ALL new build) and you have to install XP, don't freak out about your initial graphics... it gets oh so much better!)

Other Thoughts: Buy it, Love it, Would marry it and have kids if I could.

5 out of 5 eggsI can probably cook an egg

Pros: Great video card so far, I can run pretty much any game out on the market. Bought this card to save a few bucks before devoting money to the 590 series video cards.

Cons: This card gets really hot, bought this card overclocked, I am literally scared that I could cook an actual egg on it.....5 fans in my system with 2 of them blowing right on the card---can get up to 80+ degrees with heavy gaming, I also have very good ventillation system with plenty of airflow. I am not docking any eggs because technically I knew what I was buying thanks to everyone's reviews.

Other Thoughts: Still a good card---no technical complaints as of yet.

5 out of 5 eggs470s sli

Pros: Have two of these in sli at 800 core and 1850 on the memory and its amazing. I get amazing frames on any game I play. On bfbc2 I get 100+ fps. I will be buying a 3rd one for 3 way sli.

Cons: None absolutely amazing for the price
