5 out of 5 eggsDont buy it here!

Pros: Great card

Cons: DONT buy from newegg if you plan on running SLI. After all, you will want to test ONE first, am i right? Then when you want to get another for SLI, newegg WILL NOT BE THERE FOR YOU.

Other Thoughts: I just took a major beating on another EVGA card I bought here and now can't get another, even though the webpage STILL says "99 per customer". So I have to sell it at a major loss so I can get 2 IDENTICAL cards (which I will purchase SOMEWHERE ELSE).

2 out of 5 eggsDOA (50%)

Pros: Good looking

Cons: One of the two cards DOA. Tried many different driver versions, windows show blank screen on start up or crashes when enabling SLI. Eventually figured out one card was much hotter than the other and the hotter card is dead.

Other Thoughts: Older NVidia cards used to have little LEDs showing power status on the card, could not find one on these. Also there is a heat pipe connecting a heat sink to the water block, so not the entire card is covered with water block like you would expect with after market water blocks.

5 out of 5 eggsBest Card I've Ever Owned

Pros: This is by far the best graphics card I've ever owned. I have two of these bad boys in SLI and all the games I've played so far (even metro 2033) have been smooth as butter even on max settings. I have these two overclocked to 910 Mhz Core / 2100Mhz memory at only 1.1125 volts -- I haven't even gotten close to 50 degrees Celsius yet (I have a feser triple radiator) even during Vantage / maxed out Heaven (1080p) or maxed out Metro 2033! (1080p res). Note that this overclocking is all made possible by two programs Eleet and Precision -- both made available for free from EVGA! AND, as along as you don't physically damage the card, overclocking will NOT void your warranty (provided you register within 30 days and meet all other requirements). These are the real deal. Another delightful feature is that these cards take up only one (or VERY slightly more than one slot). I haven't had ANY bluescreens with these cards installed --- not 1!

Cons: Well, the price is high. Still worth it. But undeniably high. Also, the hdmi output is a mini hdmi. Not a big problem considering it came with an appropriate hdmi-mini to hdmi cable. Also, the mini-hdmi may actually be necessary given the thin form facotr

Other Thoughts: Go for it man, take the plunge!

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome

Pros: I was one of the lucky ones and I picked up two of these directly from EVGA when they were first released. They are super fast and stable, and worked extremely well in my system. Couldn't be happier.

For my system these are idling around 31c, and the highest temps I've seen on both is 49c when pushed to the max.

Cons: I haven't measured exactly how much power they use but I had to buy a different UPS for my system. I'm using about 300 watts of power at idle on my UPS which includes my system and external water cooling system with 2 pumps. (i980X, 12 Gig ram, 4 WD Raptors on 3Ware Raid Cont., etc. My latest Newegg system.)

Pushing the system sets off the overload alert on my UPS which only goes to 780 watts so the whole system is pulling more than that. I just replaced it with a Smart-UPS 2200VA UPS and all is good.

Other Thoughts: 3Dmark Vantage score for me was 38,752 as my baseline before overclocking or tweaking.

5 out of 5 eggsEVGA GTX 480 HC

Pros: EVGA did very well with the block selection for this card. I have 2 of the EVGA GTX 480 HC cards running in parallel. During Vantage benchmarking card #1 runs at 42C and card #2 runs at 44C overclocked to 1820/2240. These cards are monsters, full of power like no other card on the market. Never seen a card run games and benchmarks as smooth as this card, very impressive.

Cons: None, not even the price.

Other Thoughts: I got mine at EVGA's site as that was the only place to get them at first. Nice to see they are now on here too. Register this card within 30 days and you have a limited lifetime warranty.

2 of these cards in SLi is a ridicules amount of power.
