5 out of 5 eggs2 years and still going strong :)

Pros: have 2 of these in sli and it does everything i need it to do just great. all source games maxed out with great fps, battlefield 2142 runs great "i mostly play dx9 games"
They handle skyrim with everything almost maxed out with 60+ fps
Low power consumption leaves my 750w psu with some room to breath.

Cons: none yet

1 out of 5 eggsTwo RMAs and two years later...

Pros: Decent card, when it works.

Cons: 1 out of the four cards I received in the last couple years of ownership were duds. Still can't figure out the incompatibility (not for a lack of trying) so instead of paying for RMA shipping a third time I am replacing this outdated card for a Gigabyte 650 Ti. I have been a system builder for 10+ years and no piece of hardware gave me this much heartache.

Other Thoughts: I miss BFG. Through all the hassle my sturdy ol' 8800 GTS served as a loyal backup, and still lives; that's more than I can say for three of these bad boys.

Manufacturer Response:

Hello,

I apologize for your experience with this card. Please contact us at 888-881-3842 so we can find a resolution for you.

Thank you,
Brandon B

5 out of 5 eggsStill Ticking...

Pros: After 2 years, it's still ticking.

Cons: Broke off a fan blade with my finger while it was running the day I installed it 2 years ago. (Doh!) Super glued it back on and after 2 years, it's still holding on! LOL

Other Thoughts: Upgrading to a 660 ti after 2 years of use. This will be moved to one of my HTPC's provided that fan blade keeps holding on!

4 out of 5 eggsGood Video Card

Pros: - Fast Video Card
- Fair Price

Cons: - This video card is FAT, it's mostly blocking two of my PCI slots, rendering one of them unusable, and the other slot, I probably could barely fit a network card in there without it murdering the video card's fan.

Other Thoughts: - Overall, its a good video card, just be sure this card isn't gonna HANG over one or two of your PCI slots. And also, I dust my video card out every several months, to prevent the dust from killing the fan.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Smaller than my old 8800 GTS
Overclocked it from 675mhz to 800mhz core clock! and the memory clock from 1800mhz to 2000mhz and have had no artifacts or any kind of problems!
Runs very quiet and cool even after OC.
Plays everything I own on max settings.

Cons: NONE

Other Thoughts: Kind of wish i had seen the 1gb edition before purchasing this one just to have it. Also, i still play cs source and even tho i play on max settings with no problems i kind of expected my fps to be more, i have always felt the half life engines warent great for fps.

5 out of 5 eggsAMAZING

Pros: Have had this video card for almost a year and I have to say its AMAZING. Always runs cool even under a full load. Cant be overclocked, though I don't see the need to. Its amazing as is. The card has never gone over 56C under full load in my build. Its simply amazing for the price. Get your hands on one. NOW.

Cons: None. You cannot argue with this price or quality.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Runs everything I play at max. Everything. I play alot of games. Pretty much every major title that hits PC it play. what looks good these days.....crysis 2? yeah, max.

Over clocks well with evga precision or MSI afterburner.

I laugh at people that get the SE version on sale these days, they have a cut down ammount of cuda cores, while this one has the full 336 cuda cores.

Cons: *

Other Thoughts: I'm scared to try and max out BF3, I don't think thats going to happen, mostly dude to the fact that I use a core i3, regardless of my overclock its still a dual core.

1 out of 5 eggsWorked... for four months

Pros: High FPS in games when it works properly.

Cons: I bought two of these cards in November to replace my old GX2 which failed on me. This card worked for about three months then I began having the same problems that i had with my GX2. Random freezes and blue screens, and random crashes to a blank screen. I have had 4 nvidia cards fail on me in the past 5 years. I will not be purchasing an nvidia product until they fix their problems.

Other Thoughts: After conducting some research I discovered that the problem lies in a conflict with games that uses the Half Life 2 engine. My primary games are from Steam. (Left 4 Dead 2, Crysis, CS:S, and Empire Total War) I find it amazing that despite the fact that nvidia advertises all over steams games they cannot make a proper high performance card that works with their games. I have spent over $1,200 on nvidia cards (7800 GT, GX2, GTX460) and their cards have left me desiring a superior product.

Manufacturer Response:

5 out of 5 eggsStill a great value

Pros: Great card. Runs cool and very quiet. Great Scaling in SLI. Great value for the price. Evga is a great manufacturer, I've never had a problem with them.

Cons: For some more recent game you might want to consider the extra money for the 1GB edition, just for maxing out textures. I never really found it a huge problem.

Other Thoughts: I really hope the user FluffyBunny is kidding, it clearly says on the label that this is the 768MB edition, and he admits that he was the one who lost the mini-HDMI adaptor. If he's serious, I don't think anyone should let him build computers, for his own safety.

Also make sure to register your card on Evga's website as soon as you buy it. You get an extended warranty if you register within 30 days of purchasing.
