5 out of 5 eggsWow

Pros: Okay, so this card is the bomb. I've had it since mid June of 2012, and since I've gotten it I have played: BFBC2, MoH Warfighter, CSS, Gmod, and Tribes all at max or near max settings. I highly recommend this card.

I've heard of people getting in the GHz range with overclocking this card... I might try that.

Cons: The fan can get kinda loud but that's just the way I have it set up, and the six-pin plugs are on the end rather than the side. Depending on your case you might have a problem with that, it is a rather short card so you should be fine.

Other Thoughts: I replaced the stock fan and heatsink with an aftermarket cooler, I found out that the fan they use is an oem coolermaster fan. Mine before I swapped out the heatsink ran really cool: 29C at idle and 64C under load.

Good luck!

5 out of 5 eggsZoom!

Pros: Great card and great performance. It has a mini HDMI allowing me to get 1080p on my Asus monitor.

Cons: None. My CPU is the bottle neck now.

Other Thoughts: The nVidia numbering is a little confusing. I hope I didn't get completely confused and get it wrong. The 460 is a newer version than the 465. From my understanding, the 460 corrected a power and heat concern that the 465 has.

It works great with Asus VH238H monitor.

5 out of 5 eggsGood bang for the buck

Pros: Got it for $168 + $30 mail in rebate (which I'll probably never see but oh well). Pretty standard 768MB 460GTX that is slightly overclocked but this version comes with a lifetime warranty. Made a big difference coming from a 8800GT and is much cooler, quieter, and smaller than the old card. In a room 22C it runs at 27C at idle and at a max of 48C at load.

Cons: None-well except mail in rebates are scams. Might see that $30 in six months if I'm lucky....

Other Thoughts: My budget system:
ASUS M4A87TD EVO
AMD Phenom II X4 840 3.2GHz
Cooler Master Hyper TX3 CPU Cooler
G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 4GB DDR3 1333
EVGA GeForce GTX 460 (Fermi) Superclocked 768MB
Corsair TX750 750W power supply
HAF 912 case / 2 Cooler Master 120mm top exhaust fans, Cooler Master 120mm rear exhaust fan, and Cooler Master 200mm front intake

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Peformance

Pros: Upgraded from a evga gt 240 512MB and the difference is fantastic. I'm getting a min of 70 fps on dirt 2 and homefront with everything maxed, albeit my tv has a native resolution of 1360x768. I you have something similar 720p....etc. this card
will NOT dissapoint.

Cons: Not really a con so much as a heads up. If you have bad airflow in your case and this card gets past 65c, it can get a little loud.

Other Thoughts: Running this card on a low budget gaming rig.

5 out of 5 eggsHeads Up Warning

Pros: So far, so good insomuch as it works. Running Windows 7 Ultra, AMD quad core, 4 gigs 1066 RAM. Entire system running 100% perfect. See Cons below:

Cons: I haven't really tested this card yet-just installed it. Here's what happened: I installed using the drivers on the CD. Went in smooth and fine, no problems. On the CD is an option to check for updated drivers on the NVIDIA website so I jumped on that, checked the Windows 7 entry and sure enough, updated drivers. So I downloaded them. Deleted the previous card driver, and started the install of the updates. Got message: cannot install, incorrect operating system. Huh?? Ok, backed out, redownloaded the updates (in case my download was corrupted, right?) and made the mistake of attempting to install again. Got to the installation page, the screen went black. Period. I spent the rest of Sunday afternoon reviving my operating system, and I darn near lost everything. Even the Windows 7 Ultra OS disk would not recognize my drive at first!! Long story short, I used UBCD to revive my system enough to do a repair reintstall, so I am back and running. Beware the updated drivers on the website!

Other Thoughts: WOW! Deactivated already!

1 out of 5 eggsGreat for 10 minutes!

Pros: Looked absolutely stunning for about 10 minutes...

Cons: My computer shut off after 10 minutes of gaming with this card and would not turn back on unless the card was removed from my PCI slot. Newegg was phenomenal about issuing a quick RMA and the card is currently in the mail and I'm waiting for a replacement.

Other Thoughts: I will edit this rating with higher regards when I receive my new card and it (hopefully) lasts!

5 out of 5 eggsGreat card!

Pros: Nvidia has great driver support, runs all my games smoothly, not loud at all, video editing is cake with this card. Also stays pretty cool.

Cons: Not really a con but its kind of ugly (beauty is in the eye of the beholder lol)

Other Thoughts: This card was the answer to all my PC's problems. My computer crashed constantly and showed so many artifacts it was out of hand. I decided to replace that card with this one and it was the best choice I made. Nvidia really has great hardware with great drivers that allow me to play all my games, edit all my videos nice and smooth. Plus this card was pretty cheap after a rebate so it's a win wint to me.
