5 out of 5 eggsGreat value, good Linux support

Pros: This card is a fantastic value if you are looking for something that can handle general computing/office needs. I have purchased three of these cards to breathe life into some old desktops that did not support dual monitor output. Installation was very easy under Windows 7. Under Windows xp I had to tweak the Nvidia settings a bit, but had it working great there as well.
Most importantly of all this card has very good Linux support. Under Linux Mint 17 the card was plug-and-play with the open source driver. Installation of the proprietary Nvidia driver was very easy as well. This card has no trouble pushing two monitors at 1920x1080 while multitasking with spreadsheets, email, web browsing etc.

Cons: None so far. I have been running this card in my work computer for about six months now.

Other Thoughts: When I read the reviews about this card before purchasing I was concerned that a few complained about fan noise. I can say that the three cards that I bought have all been very quiet. I can't even really hear them over the cpu/case fans.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat bang for the buck when needing dual outputs.

Pros: Has LP brackets, easy to work with.

Cons: Don't really have any, works great.

Other Thoughts: Have good expectations as to what performance you're getting from a sub-30 dollar card.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Value for HTPC builds

Pros: EVGA means quality chips and builds
Nvidia (in my opinion) has best graphics card technology
PCI Express 2.0 x16 compatible
64-bit processing
1GB DDR3 RAM is enough for HD video streaming and playing
Easy to install, just plug and play using Windows driver or use NVidia's driver (which is much better)
Comes with VGA, DVI and HDMI (with audio) inputs
Low power consumption when in idle
Supports DirectX 10
2 year warranty

Cons: Fan gets louder and louder as time progresses so -1 egg for that.

Other Thoughts: Purchased this for my HTPC build for the living room. It works great for any HD content, whether it's streaming, hosting or playing local files via media player. I'm not planning on heavy gaming on this HTPC.

Overall, it was a very economical solution since I was not planning on building a high end gaming PC. It works flawless for HD content.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat for desktop computer!

Pros: Excellent little card
Works perfectly in desktop computer used for everything but gaming
Fine for light gaming, haven't tried anything demanding though as have dedicated gaming computer for that.

Cons: None thus far...
Not a gaming card, but great for media center or regular desktop.

Other Thoughts: Fine card I bought for my Mom's system that needed a simple card for photo editing, surfing, HD video playback, and simple animations/gfx.

Personally I would use a beefier card as I'm a gamer, but for her even this is overkill! ha ha Works flawlessly so far.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent Part

Pros: Only good things to say. It installed and was picked up by Windows 7 easily enough. Was a replacement for an older model of similar traits and it worked excellently for the client I installed it for. No issues at all.

Cons: No cons to report.

4 out of 5 eggsGood, cheap basic card

Pros: I bought this card to provide rudimentary graphics capability to run KDE on a Linux server. This was needed to use several apps that only ran in a GUI. It worked well in an old, repurposed Dell 2950 server that lacked enough onboard graphics horsepower for a Linux GUI.

The card worked well for this, although Ubuntu server needed to be installed first as a non-GUI using only the onboard graphics. The card proved incompatible with Windows on the 2950 as well as any OS on more recent Dell servers (R320, R710). It now lives in a SuperMicro box and has been running for 8 months without problems.

Cons: The fan is noisy. I would not want to listen to it in a desktop environment. In a server rack, with dozens of fans screaming at 9000 RPM, it isn't an issue.

1 out of 5 eggsDied after a few weeks.

Pros: Inexpensive.

Cons: Didn't last past a few weeks.
Started to flicker and then died altogether.

Other Thoughts: I'm RMAing this one.
We'll see how long that process takes and how long the new one lasts.
