May not be a good value if they don't honor the rebate.

I bought this for my HTPC to decode 1080p MKV movies. The card supports PureVideo/CUDA acceleration, so it was perfect.

2 out of 5 eggs

Pros: good graphics worked well for what i needed

Cons: fan died after 6 weeks

Other Thoughts: really rather disappointed by the fan there is no reason it should have died after only 6 weeks of use....

also was kinda hoping newegg would replace it but i guess the "standard" is only 30 days sigh

Manufacturer Response:

Hello,

I do apologize if the fan isn't working properly. Please contact our 24/7 technical support so we can assist you with a replacement (888)-881-3842

3 out of 5 eggsCheap and cheap

Pros: VGA, HDMI and DVI Ports. Cheap.
I have not tried to use more than one at a time, but hopefully that will work.
Compatible with Hackintosh.

Cons: Of all the fans in the case, this one is easily the loudest.

Other Thoughts: I bought this card to build a hackintosh and it turned out that I didn't need it because there is already a compatible graphics card built onto the MB. In fact, it was a problem when installing the OS. I did finally get it to work and it is a decent card (I cannot comment on the speed as that is not something I have checked). The worst thing for me is how loud the fan is. I was hoping for a quiet machine, but this card makes it relatively loud.

Manufacturer Response:

Hello,

The card will support dual monitors using VGA+HDMI or VGA+DVI if you do decide to purchase another display.

5 out of 5 eggsA really good Graphics card.

Pros: -VERY silent, I can only hear it if I put my ear next to the fan.
-Runs Dead island with highest settings possible at 55-60 fps.
-Runs alot of games really good, although I don't really play games at highest settings but I tried it on dead island and it Runs Dead island with highest settings possible at 55-60 fps.

Cons: -Doesn't cook my egg sunny side up

Other Thoughts: Good for just $35

5 out of 5 eggsBest card for the price

Pros: Runs Team Fortress 2 in a very high stress situation as smooth as a baby's bottom and the drivers installed them self. Even had free shipping! What more could you ask for, for $37?

I originally bought this card just so I could use my computer in the mean time while I wait on an RMA for my current card. But I think I just might build a second rig around this card now too.

I am very pleased with the quality put into this tiny card.

Cons: No SLI support.. If only...

Other Thoughts: I noticed people mentioning it doesn't come with a low profile bracket, mine came with two. One for the hdmi/dvi and the other for the vga.

Box showed up two days after ordering, speedy as always.

Oh, fun fact, this card runs TF2 smoother than the GTX 550 Ti. If you don't mind running it on medium quality (as apposed to high on the 550).

I have also read some very disturbing comments here relating to EVGA's customer service and I cannot say I believe a word of it. I have been a loyal EVGA customer for years and can't come up with a single complaint or dissatisfaction. Keep it up EVGA!

1 out of 5 eggsEVGA GeFroce 210

Pros: Will run 1080p

Cons: LOUD...fan was loud as hell

Card died in 2 months

Still havent gotten my Rebate.

Other Thoughts: This card died before I even got my rebate....still havent gotten my rebate btw. I dont know why I played this game with EVGA, their rebate process ive read over and over again stinks. Hopefully the RMA is less of a haedache. Should have stuck to an ATI card.

I still have a 280GTX that even though is a power hungry monster runs flawlessly. Wish this ran as well but its junk.

Manufacturer Response:

Hello,

I do apologize if the fan is no longer working properly. If you have not already done so please contact our 24/7 technical support to start an RMA at (888)-881-3842. In terms of the rebate please note that it can take 6-8 weeks for the payment to be mailed after they receive your paperwork, if you still do not receive the rebate in this time period please contact our rebates department so they can look into this for you, rebates@evga.com. I can assure you we are here to work with you on both the card and rebate, EVGA honors all valid rebates.

1 out of 5 eggsFailed in less that a year

Pros: Worked great for short time I owned it.

Cons: Upset that there is no standard warranty that is longer than 1 year, will think twice about an EVGA card again.

1 out of 5 eggsHorrible Horrible Horrible

Pros: Cheap

Cons: Everything but the price. I played Witcher 2 with it, and there was a 3 second lag. I played Assassins Creed Brotherhood, and whenever they talk the sound comes out and the lips move 3 seconds later. I wouldn't have minded so much if 25% of the game wasn't cut scenes. If your building a gaming computer, play it safe. move around some funds so you can get the Evga GTX 560. That's what I'm saving up for.

Other Thoughts: This graphics card probably wasn't meant for gaming computers but it's still frustrating when you try to move your character and it doesn't show up on your screen until your dead.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: not a bad video card for the price and rebate has good video play back easy to setup no problems what so ever

Cons: thought it would give a better score 4.5 aero 5.1 games in vista thats with a little overclocking

Other Thoughts: this one you cant control the fan speed , noise is no problem which i cant really hear it over my other fans 4 80mm and 1 120mm

4 out of 5 eggsGood basic Card - NOT for HTPC

Pros: Cheap with rebate (I got it for a killer deal at a local brick and mortar store). HDMI with audio. Good for watching HD. Good amount of video RAM.

Cons: No low profile bracket if you need one (I knew it and didn't need one).

If you are picky about noise like I am you'll want do do what I did and do a little cutting and splicing and attatch it to a fan controller. That darn little fan is quite loud at full speed and there's no way to controll it. The dumb thing does not need to run at full speed. Temps went up 2° C overall as a result of reducing it to 50% rpms (almost dead silent).

If you're purchasing for a HTPC you'll probably want to look elsewhere. With the lack of a low profile bracket and a fan that runs 100% at all times, this is probably not the card for you.

Not a great deal at full price.

Other Thoughts: I am using it in an extra Linux/W7 box put together from mostly spare parts. The fan thing is anoying and it's not only EVGA either. I had to do the same thing on the budget ASUS card I use in my HTPC. I understand trying to keep cost low but when the market for these cards tends to be HTPC application, you need to tailor your products or it defeats the purpose.
