4 out of 5 eggsNot Bad

Pros: Good card for a cheap price when it was purchased

Cons: The HDMI audio bridge was buggy and caused problems

Other Thoughts: Bought for custom system for resale and the customer didnt care bout HDMI audio so just simply disabled it in software and all problems went away.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat card for Price, be careful of recerified hardware.

Pros: Fairly powerful card for the price.
Compatible with DX11
Fan is practically silent at idle temperatures.

Cons: The fan didn't speed up at all while gaming which caused the card to get fairly hot. (about 70C and over).
I downloaded EVGA Precision from the manufacturers website which let me adjust how the fan speed scales. It works well. The card still gets above 50C while gaming, but I find this acceptable.
The fan starts to get fairly loud at around 65% speed.

Other Thoughts: The first card I bought was DOA and had to be sent back. Luckily the next one worked fine.

This card is a good buy. I would recommend anyone getting it to download the EVGA Precision software, and to be cautious about buying recertified.

1 out of 5 eggsBuy at your own risk

Pros: low price

Cons: Although the card appeared to be working well initially, now it crashes all of the time. Updated to the latest display drivers. No help. Cannot run photoshop. Display becomes unstable, flashing, pixelated artifacts even when running simple applications like spider solitare.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Usually rocks.

Cons: Since installing, I've experienced random crashes in Win 7 64, XP, and PCLinuxOS. After some research, I suppose the problem could be dirty power. I reconfigured my power connections from the Orion-hec 585 I'm using and greatly reduced the frequency of crashes.

Other Thoughts: I requested an rma, but I'm leaning towards a new power supply as a possible solution instead. Still have a while on warranty anyhow. Still, five eggs because Newegg and EVGA both rock!

2 out of 5 eggsBuy at your own risk

Pros: -Ran great for a while

-The EVGA programs make OCing simple and monitoring your GPU temps and other things easy.

Cons: Right after I bought a new mobo this card started to freeze on desktop after a boot. I have heard many people are having this problem and I've tried everything from earlier drivers to different operating systems and nothing can seem to fix this problem. I'm in the process of an RMA, but they will not refund so i'm just going to buy a totally different card and use this for another build.

Other Thoughts: Buy at your own risk.

2 out of 5 eggs2 Down 1 To Go (I Hope)

Pros: Good reviews

Cons: Bought the FPB version from EVGA B Stock. 1st card had wrong bios and wouldn't take the new one from EVGA's web site. Also multiple freezes on cold boot. 2nd card still had the cold boot freeze problem. Games like black ops and Crysis2 played with bad frame lags even though FRAPS was reporting 50FPS. Unable to play at 1920x1080. Boot freeze was pointing to nVidia DX drivers and Windows desktop Management .dll files on both cards. Have used multiple different nVidia driver versions, and have re installed Win7 but to no avail. Already have RMA set up for this card. I'm not gonna bad mouth EVGA because I have a 7800GT I bought refurbished a long time ago still running fine in another system. I'm hoping I just had some bad luck and the third time will be a charm That's just something that can happen with refurb's.

Other Thoughts: Had no problems like this with the blown 8800GT this card replaces. It played black ops and crysis2 just fine

3 out of 5 eggsFantastic Card, but has crashing issues

Pros: The card is extremely fast, and is infinitely better than my old 9800GT. if you are hesitant to buy it based on its speed, then let your fears be eased, this card is a monster.

Cons: Ever since I got it, it randomly crashes with random lines appearing on my monitor. Most of the time I can save my computer from completely crashing with a quick Ctrl+Alt+Del, but sometimes is irreversibly freezes like this. I'm looking to get it replaced in the near future. Also, there were no extra PSU cables, so I had to splice together a new one.

Other Thoughts: Refurbished doesn't always guarantee perfection, but luckily we have the 90 warranties and the extended warranties. Also, if you don't have a second PSU 6 pin connector, you'll want to purchase one of those before you buy this.
