5 out of 5 eggsGreat card

Pros: - Single slot
- out of box ready
- dead silent
- super clocked (and then some)
- of course, it runs very cool

Cons: Can't think of any

Other Thoughts: My system has an i7-2700 overclocked to 4.8Ghz and a single EVGA 580 Hydro overclocked to 925Mhz.

CPU and GPU are in same loop, driven by dual pumps and cooled by 24ft of Alphacool Cape Cora radiator that I've built the computer case out of.
At idle, the GPU sits around 28°C, under load with Prime95 and Furmark, the GPU never exceeds 42°C with only two 140mm case fans at 50%

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing Card

Pros: - Powerful
- Factory Superclocked
- Sleek
- Quiet

Cons: - Heavy
- Price

Other Thoughts: This thing takes everything I throw at it in stride. It is probably one of the most gorgeous cards I have ever seen. Factory Superclocked to 800mhz is no joke. The thing is heavy too, which isn't necessarily so bad but it will strain your board. I do wish I would have purchased the 3gb mem model (thought I had, novice mistake). Additionally, the Classified model and 590 came out just a few months after I bought this. I'm happy with the purchase but if I had to buy another I'd go classified (the support on any classified line is amazing, so is EVGA's overall.) The 590 isn't much more than this, but I'm not too confident that many games can utilize dual GPU cards effectively yet. The card is expensive (one of the most expensive cards I've ever seen) but if you were to buy a super clocked 580 and put the liquid cooling plates on it yourself you'd end up paying almost as much. The card runs at 28C idle in my system and maxes at 48C.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat card

Pros: Well, where do i begin. A wonderfully single slot designed card that performs well in BF3. I had a watercooled EVGA GTX470 with a koolance waterblock, even though i overclocked that GTX470 to 850mhz, my FPS on BF3 in ultra settings was less then 30fps playing on a resolution of 1920x1080.
After replacing the GTX470 with this card, which by the way clocks easily to 920mhz (without voltage tweaking), i get an average of 60fps playing BF3 on ultra settings on a resolution of 1920x1080. The temps at idle is around 28c and playing BF3 for 2 hours straight i get a max temp of 42c. I should have gone with the 3gigabyte version cause some maps in BF3 utilizes 1.2gigs of VRAM, i dont know if this has any adverse effects on the amount of FPS rendered.

Cons: The price obviously. Its insane that one has to shell out more then $600, just to enjoy a game in ultra settings. None the less you get what u pay for. I factored in a aircooled one and putting on a custom koolance waterblock, but that would only have saved me close to 30 bones. See other thoughts.

Other Thoughts: You wont beleive me, after i got done with my waterloop and then turned the computer on, guess what there was nothing on the screen. I nearly crapped my pants, so i changed the monitor it didnt help, i then checked the power cable to the card and saw that one cable came unclipped or was not properly inserted, changed it and walla bang it work.
If you are going to play BF3 on this card, before installing it remove all the previous nvidia driveers, download the driver version 285.62 (as this driver is solelly foor BF3) then restart and install the driver.
I did not do this and somewhat my drivers were all corrupted and i was getting a frame rate of less then 30. You dot need this card in SLI to run BF3 in ultra settings.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat cards

Pros: Got two of these cards in there own loop with two XSPC RX360 rads. Idle temps are always ambient, Load temps never see over 40c. Can run BF3 in ultra no problems

Cons: The blocks are a little restrictive you need to watch you flow rates

5 out of 5 eggsEVGA has done it again!

Pros: -Superior build quality
-Comes with everything you need to hook this up into your water cooled PC!

Cons: -Make sure you connect all front USB/audio and power switch/ re-set switch connections BEFORE installing these into your system as they take up a lot of room inside the case.

Other Thoughts: I have 2x of these in SLI and could not be happier with them. I currently have these cards OC'ed @ 910CV/ 1866 and they run around 42C under a stress test for 12 hours. I have these in a dedicated wc'ing loop for the video cards.

3 out of 5 eggsgreat card but!!!!

Pros: water cooled factory over clocked, life time warranty. great cooling with my new cooling system. but not much better then the 5870 that I was using.

Cons: No QC check one of my ports had a piece of copper from the tapping process platted into the threads. Took some time to get it out all the time I was wondering if I was going to have to send it back at my cost. I was able to get it out after an hour with one of my control screw drivers. For the price one would think that these things are checked!!! Lost 2 eggs for that

Other Thoughts: did some bench marks, pretty close with the 5870, but I did notice a much smoother run. Plus no fan noise.

Manufacturer Response:

I do apologize if you ran into issues getting the card working properly. If you run into any more issues with the card we are here 24/7 to support you (888)-881-3842.
