3 out of 5 eggsWorked

Pros: Cheap enough.

Required no extra power connections.

At the time I purchased there was a ten dollar rebate offer.

Has HDMI and DVI connections.

Low profile brackets included in the box.

Cons: Not ideal for gaming, but that's not what you'd buy this for anyway. Pretty much no cons here for me.

Other Thoughts: Worked right out of the box, no issues. The rebate offer was nice. I only needed this card to output video, not for any kind of gaming so I can't speak to it's gaming prowess. Again, if you were going to game you'd skip this entirely. This is just for outputting video. It can probably run vanilla Minecraft or something but I haven't tried, it went right into an office/daily email setup.

5 out of 5 eggsFast, Good, and Cheap.

Pros: Excellent price, Fast shipping, Great packaging.

Cons: For the machine I was putting it in, kinda OP. In any modern systems, not the most powerful GPU.

Other Thoughts: 100% happy, Client was also happy. 10 minute installation and update.

4 out of 5 eggsDecent low end card

Pros: Card does exactly what it is supposed to. Responds to HDMI connection and provides decent refresh rate and quality for the price. Not about to light the world on fire anytime soon. Fan noise less than expected.

Cons: You get what you pay for. Don't expect to run any medium to high level games with this card. You insert it into your PCI-X slot, it is P&P, you get video input for your flat screen, desktop monitor.

Other Thoughts: I have this to get me buy before I fork over $400 for a decent GPU.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Cheap, plug-and-play. I bought this so I could get some video output from my FreeBSD server. There was no on-board video, and this has been working great since day 1.

Misc pros
-3 outputs: VGA, DVI, HDMI
-2 year warranty

Cons: None so far.

Other Thoughts: I'm sure doing anything video intensive would not work very well, but you get what you pay for, and I really only needed to see the terminal.

5 out of 5 eggsIt displays video.

Pros: It displays video. Single-slot and even has a low-profile bracket if you're into that.

Cons: Well it's not exactly the most powerful thing in the world but if you are looking at that you probably know that already

Other Thoughts: I purchased this for a server box that I figured would need direct, non-SSH access occasionally. So far I've used it for installing the OS. If you are looking for something powerful I probably wouldn't recommend it, but as far as "I just need a monitor hole" goes, it's fine.

5 out of 5 eggsworks

Pros: Straight out of the box run's with no problems with win7 easy to installed drivers . told me 4 to 7 days shipping and got it in 3 days.

Cons: I wish new egg wouldn't use that global mail company for shipping !

Other Thoughts: I will still shop at new egg but will opt for 3 day shipping from now on because the global mail option bites the big one !

5 out of 5 eggsGood Cheap Card

Pros: A very good card for the price. Installed easily under Ubuntu Linux with no issues. Currently running at 1360 x 768 and never had any issues. I have only had one game have some slowdown, but it was a modern game.

Cons: Works with modern games, but not very well.

Other Thoughts: If you want a card to get the job done until you can get a better card this is the way to go.

4 out of 5 eggsGood for Offices

Pros: Inexpensive, HDMI, Easy Setup

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I've purchased about a dozen or so of these for employees that wish to have more than a single monitor and in some cases, up to 3 monitors. I use Optiplex workstations and decided to try these out. Now, I know that they work well with my workstations so I will only get these from now on. I only had 1 experience with a card where the fan got extremely loud. So loud that the employee and the employees around him began to complain. So, I just unplugged the fan from the card and cold booted. Been about 3 months since I did that and the machine hasn't crashed.

So, I learned two things here:
1) I know that the cards are cool enough without the need for a fan for a typical office environment
2) He isn't playing Candy Crush or watch YouTube videos when working
