5 out of 5 eggsStill using this card

Pros: Been using this card since it originally came out. Great card, great price. Still can play any game out there now. May not be in ultra settings, but most games will still be on high settings. Very happy with this card.

Cons: Pretty old now and not quite up to speed w/ the 700 series...but this is a 560...so to be expected.

5 out of 5 eggsM

Pros: This card has been a beast. It's been able to handle nearly everything i asked it to. Everything from Battlefield 3 to Skyrim to Far Cry 3 runs great at 1080p resolution, sometimes even with low levels of AA depending on the game engine.

Cons: It's very long. Read the specs and make sure yoru case can handle it. There was also one motherboard i put it in where the card covered one of the SATA ports rendering it unusable. Think ahead and do your research to save frustration.

5 out of 5 eggsQuality GPU

Pros: - quiet fan @max load (I have mesh side panel on my chassis, so I'm not spared noise nuisance; my 140mm top chassis-fan makes more noise than anything when it wobbles)
- runs everything I've ever installed at maximum settings @ >30fps (unoptimized games (betas, mods, etc) have required me to set my RAM Clock up to its factory default, but I've never needed to OC this GPU).
- peak heat-index for me has been ~80°C (only ever encountered running incomplete/unoptimized software); max-load heat-index is usually around 68-72°C; average (gaming) load ~55-60°C; idle index ~38°C
- haven't encountered any driver issues yet
- going 3 years strong with no issues or complaints

Cons: - hefty pricetag (@ time of purchase)

not actually a Con, but something I wish it had and to bring attention to for others:
- TXAA and GPU Boost not available (this card is a whole series behind on those techs)

Other Thoughts: I use a single 1600x900 monitor with a single 560 Ti; no money wasted on overhead performance (suited my need perfectly and then some).

3 out of 5 eggsWorth.. while it lasted.

Pros: Stable card, worked consistently.

Cons: It didn't last so long, I have also received the "driver has crashed and has recovered"

Other Thoughts: I also see random colors and artifacting, the card is @ default clocks : 850, 2052

1 out of 5 eggsDisplay driver nvlddmkm stopped responding and has successfully recovered.

Pros: Decent card for its time.

Cons: I continue to receive TDR errors for unknown reasons, as nothing as been said by Nvidia even though MANY people have encountered the problem. It is unnerving to have a problem that their is no apparent solution to. I don't want to find out after my warranty expires that my card was slowly dying.

Other Thoughts: Do not get Nvidia cards at this time, considering their drivers have a MAJOR bug and it has not even been acknowledged by Nvidia! They aren't even trying to fix it because they just tell people to reproduce it, and they are not able to do so as it is a random occurrence.

3 out of 5 eggsGET 2GB VRAM! *NOT* THIS ONE!

Pros: Decent card for the price, and has lasted me since half-way through 2012. Can run a bit hot at times, but temps can be easily maintained through having a well ventilated case.

Cons: Only downside to the card is it's limited vRAM. 1GB vRAM just doesn't cut it anymore. Only after receiving the 1GB vRAM model did I come to the realization that I could have gotten the 2GB vRAM model for a nominal difference(only $30, give or take), but I decided to stick with it because I did not want to deal with the wait associated with returning a card to Newegg in exchange for a different one.

Other Thoughts: 1GB, although perfect for its time, just does not cut it anymore with the increasing number of applications (games) that recommend for 2GB or more.

4 out of 5 eggsWorks as intended

Pros: Worked as intended right out of the box, and served as an excellent piece of hardware compared to what I was using prior. Have has no problems since.

Cons: Driver updates are sketchy because there is a chance it could make the card unstable. I have been forced to stop updating the drivers unless I absolutely need to. The driver version which is currently stable for me is: 314.22

3 out of 5 eggsNot bad, but could use improvement

Pros: Ran great for over a year. Quiet, smooth operation. Great performance for its price. Really solid card overall.

Cons: Around the 1.5 year mark things started going wrong. Several crashes and freezes caused by the card. Supposedly the problem lies within the driver, but after updating, deleting, and reinstalling the driver, the problem was still there. Maybe a mechanical problem developed at some point, or maybe the driver really is to blame and I just haven't found a good fix. But the malfunctions are annoying at best, and I can't completely bash the card for that.

Other Thoughts: Most people seem to like this card, and until recently I had nothing to complain about. A bad driver update could easily cause the problems I'm experiencing, but that is fixable. I still like this card.
