5 out of 5 eggsNice card

Pros: Purchased 2 of these almost 3 years ago and have only run SLI, so my review is based on that, not a single card. I love eye candy and this card delivers. They can run Skyrim, Batman: Arkam Origins, Splinter Cell: Backlist, FarCry3, Saints Row3 and 4 and GTAIV; all at 1080p and ultra settings without a hitch and above 60fps measured in Fraps.

Cons: Not really a con for the age of the cards, but only 1Gig of Vram. Any newer games coming out later in 2014 probably won't be able to play at 1080p ultra with only 1Gig of Vram.

Other Thoughts: I refuse to play on low or medium and even sqwander at the thought of "just" settling for high settings. When I game, I want to experience all of the game's capabilities, but that's just me and I know I'm not alone. Next upgrade, soon, and will be a new build and a single card solution capable of all the eyecandy without the power consumption of 2 cards; or I can "go green" and get some Crayola crayons, draw my games and pretend I am playing them. :-P

4 out of 5 eggsGood, not epic

Pros: Not too expensive for a card that was a series behind when I bought it and competed with the 660 decently well. Plays intense games on high fine, but like others have said is not for maxing out.

Cons: I have seen some strange things with this card in, like purple plasticy textures on things in skyrim, starting with a stump and in time the entire world. could be the game.

not as powerful as i expected it to be. gets warm and slows after 3 hours (in an antec 300 with all fans on)

Other Thoughts: Really regret accidentally purchasing this model instead of the more cores or more memory versions when shopping. I'm not confident enough to OC on my own but i doubt the factory superclock made up for the specs in casual use even.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat at the Time

Pros: Good FPS at max resolutions
Can handle a little AA
Shadows can stay on

Cons: Can't max out anything

Other Thoughts: It maxed out WoW at like 40 FPS back when I got it, but nowadays it just doesn't get the job done. Always have to turn a couple of things down.

5 out of 5 eggsVery Good Card

Pros: This card has played Skyrim, Black Ops 2, Assassins Creed 3, FarCry 3, BF3, and Crysis 3 just fine. Not all of them are on high settings though. FPS on these (using medium to high settings) are all above 60. Very playable and looks good.

Cons: None really except I think it runs a little hot. I'm showing about 90C when playing Black Ops 2. This may be that my case is a bit crowded. It's a mid tower with about 3 case fans. I don't have high-end cooling on the CPU.

Other Thoughts: My rig is an intel i7 860 2.8 GHz, Gigabyte MOBO (H55), and 4GB of DDR3 RAM. I'm also running a 700 W PSU.

3 out of 5 eggsGood card, not great

Pros: This card is adequate. The evga precision utility gives you a good amount of options for fan and voltage control, seems decently responsive to changes. Card runs most newer titles without much of an error.

Cons: Do you use headphones while gaming? Excellent! This card may just be for you. Do you have speakers? Bummer, they won't be as loud as the jet engine fan in this bad boy. I have never in my life had such a noisy pc component, it's insane! The thing idles low enough but under load it gets 75+ even when you ramp the fan up it barely slows down. Because of the heat emitted from the card and the insane fan it also causes my speakers interference in the form of popping noise (only when under heavy load) so I can't multi task without problems.

Other Thoughts: For the money you can get a much faster, better, quieter, cooler card. There's no reason to buy this card in 2013 and beyond.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent purchase for a gaming PC

Pros: I bought this card June 2011 when I put together a PC in anticipation of Skyrim. I was really only going for something that could play medium settings. The card came with a half off on "The Witcher 2" and after installing it and seeing that it recommended the highest settings with my set up (specs in other thoughts) I was shocked.

This card has played the following notable games on max settings with super-smooth framerate: The Witcher 2, Skyrim, Deus Ex: Human Revolution, Guild Wars 2.

All in All I'd definitely recommend this card for anyone building a gaming PC on a moderate budget.

Cons: The only issue I have encountered was the physical size of the card. It was a bit hard to maneuver into my case, but that was mostly because of all the cords from my PSU.

Other Thoughts: The setup I put this with was Intel Core i5-2400 Sandy Bridge 3.1GHz (3.4GHz Turbo Boost) LGA 1155 95W Quad-Core Desktop Processor Intel HD Graphics 2000 BX80623I52400 and 6 gigs of pc3 12800 ram.

5 out of 5 eggsRock Solid and Higher Performance Card from EVGA

Pros: I have played Diablo 3, World of Tanks, Deus Ex: Human Revolution, X-Com: Enemy Unknown, Planetside 2 (beta and release), Borderlands 2, Call of Duty: Black Ops and King's Bounty on this card (among others) over the past year and my frame rate just never suffers unless I really stress the video setting on purpose. EVGA has never let me down in low or high demand applications.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Video cards seem effected obsolescence more quickly than any other components in that "next week" there will be a new super card on the shelf. I would very rarely (if ever) recommend buying top-of-the-line. Furthermore, it is easy to get wrapped up on 10 more FPS for only X more dollars; remember that when you are not comparing cards side by side you wont notice the drop from 100 to 90 FPS. This card was not top of the line when I bought it but a year later it still gives me clean, smooth with medium to high setting and 1920 x 1080 resolution on all games I play.

3 out of 5 eggsNice

Pros: Great build; the card feels solid and performs well. Great features.

Cons: I expected this card to significantly outshine my older model. From what I can see, I did not gain much speed and horsepower so much as I gained extra features.

4 out of 5 eggsGood, Hot-running card

Pros: Runs most games at high/ultra quality no problem. Fast!

Cons: The card runs hot. Temperature of the card approached 85c even on less GPU-intensive games like TF2. I felt that this could have been avoided if the fan throttling was more aggressive. I've never seen the fan speed go over 40% even when hitting these high temperatures.
