2 out of 5 eggsHad for a while now

Pros: Works sometimes

Cons: Had this card for a year now. I used to like it, but its crashing like once per week while playing BF3. Never again will I consider getting EVGA GeForce products. Its absolutely insane how a $340 device works like a $50 2nd hand Chinese product. If anyone plans on buying it, don't.

5 out of 5 eggsNot quite a GTX580 but its really close

Pros: I have a 012-P3-1572-TR GTX 570 SC and a 012-P3-1572-AR GTX 570 SC and they perform the same. The only differnce is the warranties.

Cons: Only con is the price.Over $700 just for two video cards i cant believe i paid that much for them and that something better and cheaper is always just around the corner

Other Thoughts: These things running with my 2600K and my Asus P8Z68-V Pro running in SLI but only 8x/8x totally rip through my games at 1920x1200.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Excellent card, no problems so far been having it for about 2 months. Runs everything smooth, thinking about putting another one in my PC.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I see people taking eggs off b/c of the warranty, you should look up the cards warranty before buying it, 2 years is fine until the new 600 series comes out.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat card

Pros: Great card. No problems installing. Works great. Maxs out BF3 (with out AA), Maxs out Skyrim.

Cons: Have to underclock to get some games to run.

Other Thoughts: I got this for BF3. I can run it on ultra no problem, great FPS.

Be sure to install EVGA Precision to under/over clock and set your fan speeds.

To those giving a poor rating over 2 Year Warranty, i never had a GPU more then 2 years with out upgrading, so why does it matter.

5 out of 5 eggsAWESOME CARD!

Pros: Card slices through EVERYTHING I throw at it. Playing BF3 on ultra averaging about 55-65 fps. Card looks cool, and the warranty on this is lifetime if you read the top post from the evga representative. Idles about 39-40 after I bumped up the core to over 800mhz. make sure you have 10.5 inches space or more cuz this bad boy is HUGE!

Cons: not really a con, but make sure you set the fan speed yourself using the precision software included with card. I bumped it up to 70% For some reason it comes set at 40% which isn't sufficient for gaming.

Other Thoughts: AMD PHENOM IIx4 955 OC TO 3.65GHZ
8GB DDR3 GSKILL SNIPER @1600 MHZ
EVGA GTX570 SC EDITION

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome Card!

Pros: Awesome card. Great price for its performance. Got this mainly for BF3 and Skyrim and it runs BF3 on Ultra settings with no problems! I'm positive it will run Skyrim on max settings as well.

Cons: None so far!

Other Thoughts: TR is the 2-Year Warranty.

Big card (10.5 in.) but still room to spare in my Antec DF-85 case.

1 out of 5 eggsGreat Card, Warranty!?

Pros: Has all the features of the 012-P3-1572-AR, but also includes the high-flow bracket in the back.

Cons: NO LIFETIME WARRANTY!!!!

This is the only reason I buy eVGA and if this is a new trend, I will promptly STOP buying their products.

Buy the 012-P3-1572-AR instead. The bracket isn't worth the warranty.

Manufacturer Response:

Hello,

I do apologize for any confusion. Your model card, along with all "AR" products do carry a lifetime warranty if you register them within 30 days and are the original owner with proof of purchase. You can find all of our warranty terms and conditions, along with the various suffix's on the cards and the associated warranty length here: http://www.evga.com/support/warranty/

5 out of 5 eggsThe right power for the price.

Pros: Very powerful at a great price. I run two of these badboys in SLI configuration and it runs BC2 at max settings, 4xAA, and 60+FPS with no problem at all.

Cons: They do run a little hot sometimes, but a properly cooled case will take off the edge. Not really a performance con, but the "GTX 570" sticker on the top of one of my cards is starting to peel off in the corners just a bit. With the other 570, on the other hand, it seems as though someone used epoxy to hold the sticker in place. Again, not a performance issue, it's just something that kind of bothers me.

Other Thoughts: I built this setup in hopes to run BF3 well. I believe I will achieve my goal with two of these cards and assistance from an i5 2500k.

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing card!

Pros: This thing is a beast. I didn't want to spend $500 on a GTX 580, so I went with it's little brother. I'm glad I did! Everything runs at the highest setting with no issues once so ever. The card stays nice and cool, with temps hitting 60c when playing BFBC2 at highest settings.

Cons: This card is as long as the GTX 580 (10.5 inches), so make sure you have room. I literally have 1/2 inch to spare in my case for this card.

The other thing...(in Other Thoughts section)

Other Thoughts: When the card arrived, the temps at idle were at 65c. This is way too high for idle, so I took a peek at the fan...sure enough it wasn't working. I contacted customer support and submitted a thread on their support forum. There were two replies within half an hour: 1. I had to RMA the card OR 2. Open up the card and see if the fan was plugged in. I went for number two just because I was curious...sure enough it wasn't plugged in. Go figure. I'ts beyond me how the card shipped without the crucial fan plugged in. Not worth deducting an egg over, because the card makes up for it in awesomeness. Please note that if you don't want to risk damaging the card and voiding the warranty, you should send it back for an RMA.

If you use an ATI card now, and are thinking about the GTX 570...Stop. Hit the Add To Cart button. Buy it. You won't be sorry.
