3 out of 5 eggsNo Sli connector included

Pros: bought 2 of these for a build in 2012, with the intention of SLI connecting the two cards. Turns out no SLI connectors were included. Okay no big deal a friend had an extra one. Since then the cards have been able to run most games smoothly without being overclocked, and I've had 2 monitors connected to just one of the cards most of the time, no problem.

Cons: One model higher, the 660 i think, supports nvidia shadowplay. as a gamer I wish I'd had knowledge of this when I bought my cards, because I would have gone with 1 model higher for this capability.
The cards 'failed' earlier this year but it turns out it was due to dust blocking the fan. They're already 2 years old so I'm satisfied that it took this long. dust is now cleaned and they work again.

Other Thoughts: If I were making a budget system I'd probably go with the next model up minimum just for shadowplay capability. Despite my rant, the cards are pretty good at what they do and they were inexpensive compared to alternatives at the time.

3 out of 5 eggs1 Out of 2 Ain't Bad?

Pros: When works, is a great graphics card. I've been running all games since 2012 quite flawlessly with this card and I have no complaints. The only games that give me any trouble have been 2013+, with that being minimal and still being very playable.

Cons: I bought a second one thinking I would dual SLI. I actually reviewed the motherboard for having a faulty second slot since when it was installed it would freeze whenever a video would run and give me the "display driver has stopped working but recovered" nonsense over and over again until it restarted my computer. Turns out it's actually the second card I bought. For some reason I never tried to run the second card by itself in the initial slot (I thought I had) and decided I would wait it out to buy another MoBo. It was the card all along!

Unfortunately the purchase was so long ago I do not think a replacement likely or possible.

Other Thoughts: Great card when it works, quite upsetting after owning it for 2+ years with nothing but good things to say about EVGA that it was the card all along that was faulty.

5 out of 5 eggsStands the test of time

Pros: Had it since the little quy came out and at first I always hated it cause no matter what I couldn't get past a certain fps so I dropped a 770 in the rig and no change realized I was bottle necking off my processor, this gpu seems like it was made to last its still being used and only got a few months off time till I put it back in the old rig and put the 770 in my one, have a friend getting a 750ti, hopefully they'll be alike

Cons: none, it survived in my old cork of a case

Other Thoughts: Hopefully the 750ti will be the same in the way it lasted

2 out of 5 eggsPOOp

Pros: Worked until it didn't.

Cons: I feel like Nvidia makes these to break down shortly after releasing new card series. Not buying Nvidia again.

5 out of 5 eggs3 years old and still running strong!

Pros: Just replaced my 550ti with a 750 gtx superclocked. Now I'm going to be using this 550 in my new budget build until I can replace it with something more newer & powerful.

All it's really been used to do is watch videos, game (LoL, SC, WoW, Crysis, D3...etc) and moderate Photoshop use. It's held up spectacularly over the years and I hope it continues to do so.

Cons: none.

Other Thoughts: The new 7 series, having no 6-pin connector is amazing. So I'd recommend the newer cards over the 5/6 series only for that reason.

5 out of 5 eggsGTX 550 Ti

Pros: Ran everything I needed at max settings from summer 2012 through summer 2013. With EVGA Precision X, Overclocking was simple to learn and I was able to get better speeds than most of what I found others had done online. I was just learning high end PC tech and this GPU made my life better and my games happier. It also stayed under 65 degrees Celsius at max settings. Even ran Crysis 2 maxed out! May be a little dated now but it was absolutely worth the $120 that I payed for it (and 'on-sale' price.) Replaced it with a refurbished NVIDIA GTX 660 Ti and love this new Ti card just as much.

Cons: Literally no Cons to speak of for the time period I used it in my media rig.

Other Thoughts: This card and the successive 660 Ti I bought have permanently sold me on always using a NVIDIA architecture GPU.

5 out of 5 eggsPrettt Good Card!

Pros: I got this card used from a friend back in 2012 and it worked great for me! Unfortunatlet my syster started to fail due to a faulty Q6600.

Cons: Ran a little warm for my liking but it was within saftey margins. Not really a con.

The fan is pretty loud for me when I set it to 100% during heavy gaming.

5 out of 5 eggsTwo years still running.

Pros: Used this for Diablo 3 launch in my old dual core computer and it carried the team along and then some. I built my GF a gaming computer a year and a half ago and it still is working well for her. Able to play Farcry 3, Diablo 3, and much more. Great budget card.

Cons: None.
