4 out of 5 eggsGood Card, Good Price

Pros: -Cheap price for pretty good performance.
-Easy to install and run.
-Doesn't use too much power.
-Haven't run into anything it can't do
-Can take heat well.

It can run many older games on ultra and above, like Skyrim, Fallout, Call of Duty, and Mafia II. Games like Battlefield 3 and 4 can be played on Medium and High. Crysis 2 can run and Very High settings. Going from a really low end card to this, the difference in terms of performance was just mind blowing for the amount of money I spent.

Cons: -Can get kind of hot when playing more demanding games, (75'C on Battlefield 3)
-When the card does get hot, the fan can get loud
-The fan speed changing depend on load and temperature can be distracting sometimes.
-Was not able to overclock it too far (About @ 1024 MHz) before the drivers crashed and defaulted back to the 981. Though, overclocking it got me able to run Battlefield 3 on ULTRA and get playable FPS. (Around ~30)

That's all the problems I faced. I had no trouble with installing drivers.

Other Thoughts: If you're on a serious budget, this is certainly a card to consider purchasing. Though, if you can hold off on buying this and saving more money, you should buy something better in terms of performance. (Highly recommend the GTX 760 for about $250)

I was not disappointed by this card at all. Great deal!

4 out of 5 eggsPretty solid card

Pros: -Great power
-Haven't run into anything it can't do
-Helpful support team

Cons: -Over heats a lot, had to use a seperate EVGA fan controller software to stop it from over heating

Other Thoughts: Pretty solid choice, have had my issues, sometimes the card fails on startup. but that's only happened twice.
had a lot of great times with this card, I don't regret buying it.

4 out of 5 eggsAll you need

Pros: Good GPU. Can play most of my games on max settings. Quiet and it good for the price. Most games can run on Max settings if now all games can run on high settings

Cons: Like all nvidia cards, they tend to heat up really fast and MMOs will require to turn down the settings (like the render quality)

Other Thoughts: I'm sorry that they might be discontinuing this card because its really good but at least they got the 560 ti

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent Performance for price

Pros: This is the second card in my multi-seat Ubuntu system. My daughter uses it to play Portal 2 & Warcraft - at max settings- and for regular computer use. It performs just as well (framerate) as my other, more expensive, EVGA card.

Cons: None so far.

Other Thoughts: My other EVGA card has been installed for about 14 months and the fan has started to make noise. I was concerned that a noisy fan may not be RMA worthy; I contacted them about an RMA and they said no problem. I have never seen a more professionally run RMA process than with EVGA.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat entry level / budget card

Pros: Really decent frame rates at medium - high settings. Will handle ultra settings if you don't mind 20-30 fps. Works flawlessly right out of the box. EVGA is the cream of the Nvidia crop. Drivers are excellent, and Precision X is the best OC/monitor program out there.

Cons: Runs hot if you don't have excellent airflow in your case. During summer months it was hitting up to 86C. Not a big deal though, card is very well made and can take the heat. No crashes regardless of temp.

Other Thoughts: Got this card back in august for my budget gaming setup. Paid about $130 after rebates, and was worth every penny. This is a great card for the gamer on a budget, but if you want to max everything out and get 60 fps you need to go up a few levels. Will be replacing w a GTX 670 4gb soon (EVGA of course). Overall a great entry level card for someone who doesn't have $400+ to spend. This is the 4th EVGA card I have bought for various builds, and I'm a customer for life! I've had nothing but problems w ATI drivers, and ever since I got turned on to Nvidia/EVGA I'll never go back. ATI cards may be a bit cheaper/ faster, but you get what you pay for in the long run.
My build:
AMD Phenom IIX4 955 (OC'd to 4.0 ghz)
GSKILL value series 8 G (2X4G) DDR3 1333
ASUS M4A88T-V EVO Series Mobo
Seagate Barracuda 750 gig HDD (Files / Media)
WD Caviar Blue 500 gig HDD (Windows/Software)
Win 7 Home Premium 64 bit
EVGA GTX 550 ti

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Card, Just got 2nd for Sli

Pros: Had one of these running in my setup for almost a year and its always been great. had many other cards before with driver issues, ones that didnt perform nearly as well, just bad luck. but this card had no issues, and the performance was very well worth the money.

Cons: Yea, it can get kind of hot, as long as your not shoving one inside a cramped case with 1 fan and dusty wires falling out of it, you should be fine. i have 2 of these running sli now, and they can get pretty hot, but theyre strong built card, they can handle it.

Other Thoughts: Asus m4n98td Turbo, AMD 970BE 3.5ghZ quad, 6GB Corsairxms3 1333Mhz, 2x evga superclocked GTX 550Ti, Asus 850watt ps, Antec Kuhler620 liquid CPU cooler
