5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: = Great for the moderate gamer. I've tested with game ranging from Oblivion to Portal 1-2 to Half Life 2, etc. all on High graphics with zero lag whatsoever. I've yet to test on high requirement games like Crysis and alike, although reviews for it say it can play it on Low-Medium settings really well.

Cons: = Does not include instruction manual (you need to go online and download the drivers for the product, and there is no intuitive notice anywhere that tells you where or how to do so). The average joe might not know what to do.

Other Thoughts: Very good startup upgrade to the GPU. I would def. recommend to my friends who are just starting to upgrade their video cards and are on a limited budget like myself.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: + Price

+ Single Slot

+ Quiet

+ Audio over HDMI works. I was a little worried about this since I couldn't find any information on it.

Cons: - No DirectX 11

- Not the best high-end gaming solution, but would work wonderfully in an HTPC or Light Gaming application

Other Thoughts: Hope this thing holds up. I was tucking wires and essentially "prettying-up" this build, and this sticker on the ICB side (top) of this card was bugging me because it was sticking up over some resistors or something. All i could see was a bar-code, so I said "eh" and ripped it off... upon closer examination, I noticed "Warranty Void if Removed" ... Awesome... out of the 5 stickers on the top of this thing, the ONLY one that wasn't flat is the ONLY one I'm not allowed to take off... oh well, not sure how much of a warranty a recertified GPU has anyway...

5 out of 5 eggsPretty good card. Very satisfied

Pros: For its performance grade its a solid card and lives up to expectation.

The card doesn't make much noise at all. I rarely ever notice it, if ever.

Considering its performance compared to other cards in the same price range, this is a great deal right now. I highly recommend it.

I've had this card for 6 to 9 months now. Its been solid.

Cons: The card's heatsink venting section ends in the middle of the card and not at the edge of computer case and therefore doesn't blow the hot air out of your computer properly. It sort of blows it inside the computer. So you need to take a good look and make sure you set things properly so you get proper airflow in your system to push the hot air out. Not that this card produces too much heat. Its not powerful enough to do so.

Other Thoughts: I got this card maybe 6 to 9 months ago. Great card for the money.

I bought this card for $40 at the time. Other GT 240 cards were going for 70-80 bucks.

My older card burnt out so I was looking to buy a cheap card that will get the basics done. This card more than satisfied me. I have an old system, Pentium D 3.0ghz, 2 gigs of ram. My monitor only supports 1280x1024. At this resolution I can play COD MW2 with no problems. For NFS shift I had to lower the res a little bit and slightly turn down some graphics. For non-demanding games this card is awesome. I never expected this kind of performance out of it.
