Pros: Like others I had a restricted ability with my MB and case to add extra cards and I had a need to drive 3 monitors (PLP) to replace my two wide 22 inchers that I was using.

The price was right at that moment and I snapped it up.

Cons: Card failed, lost a monitor. nVidia RMA'd no problem, sent new card, all is well just disappointed end of life model wasn't rock solid from the get go.

Other Thoughts: I made several mistakes building my workstation, 8 year old case despite being brand new, tight fit for server motherboard and cooling and cards, no ability to easily add on. When I saw my first PLP setup I knew that was my interface for the desktop and set up with a U3011 dell 2560x1600 landscape and a couple of 2007F's 1200x1600 in portrait which is ideal for 3D, digital photo processing and light gaming and it makes for an impressive desktop.

Pros: This card is great. I got it for $170 with the rebate and I couldn't be happier. It's run everything near ultra with only the most stressful games slowing it (BF3 has MSAA down to 2x, same with Max Payne 3). I play Starcraft 2, Borderlands 2, and no problems. All this is with SLI enabled.

Cons: When it's described as 2GB vram and 512-bit, that's slightly misleading. That's split between the GPU's, so in reality it's 1GB with 256-bit. Huge card, takes up most of my full tower phantom's width.

Other Thoughts: Running this on a 650W corsair TX and no problems yet.

This is my first upgrade since a pentium 4 Dell from 2004, so everything seems crazy to me.

Pros: I bought this card for 170$ with rebate, even though its a 2 year old card, just one card has no problem with today's games. I ran a single gpu with my 3570k and it casually handles Tribes: Ascend on Very High. With SLI enabled, It wails on games out right now like Joachim equipped with a full sized locker. Comes with 2x6pin to 8 connectors... and a sticker. Oh and the EVGA logo lights up. Looks pretty schweet.

Cons: This is a large, power hungry card.

Other Thoughts: I fit this card inside the Rosewill Ranger-M micro atx case. The card peaks out at about 480 watts under load, and EVGA recommends atleast a 700 watt power supply. I am running 7 fans, an SSD, and this card on a 600-watt OCZ modular power supply. How much power you're rails can deliver is more important than the total wattage. Do some research and alittle math and you can see how much strain you are putting on you're PSU.

I see many users have problems with SLI on their boards. You indeed need an SLI-capable board to run this card. There are some nifty programs that may enable SLI on a non-sli board but I have no idea where one would find such a magical thing. ;)

If you see this card under 200$ though, its a steal. It has comparable benchmarks to a reference gtx 580 on 1920x1200 or below at over half the price.

Pros: Can't say a whole lot since I had limited use of the card. Card looks sweet. It worked well while it worked. Ran Skyrim on Ultra for couple days. Seemed like a good deal with the rebate. Without the rebate I could have gotten a 480 or 560ti which would have been just a little under specs but can be SLI'd.

Cons: You can't SLI so I wouldn't pay full price for this card I'd buy the 570 or 580 for that price. Seems like a good card but I wouldn't use the rebate so if the price is too high without rebate don't buy it as my suspicion is these have a high failure rate that's the reason for the large rebate.

Other Thoughts: I have only done rebates a couple times (don't trust them) so didn't know the routine very well. I bought this card and Hooked it up to my 1000 watt PSU. it worked great for 2 days. How many times does your equipment junk out after 2 days of working fine, it's a first for me? So evening of second day I sent rebate in. 3rd day it worked for a while, let it go to sleep and when it woke it quit pushing video. I tested 2 monitors and then put a gt 210 in and that one worked fine. I tried sending it back to New Egg but they sent it back since it didn't have the UPC on the box. Somewhere in the the process the serial no on the card came off so after I talked to EVGA they confirmed it is now an expensive doorstop. Guess I'll put my Radeon back in.

Pros: Great card! Got it for $160 w/ rebate and it is an unbelievable deal. SLI performance is fantastic. This isn't going to beat a 680 or equivalent, but the price/performance factor made this a non-issue.

Cons: It's huge. Make sure to have a large case. Somewhat loud if running hard for a long time. But the noise isn't high pitched or annoying, you can just hear the air moving.

Other Thoughts: Make sure your MOBO actually supports SLI. If you want to enable the SLI function and your MOBO doesn't support that feature both cards will not work together (even though they are physically on one card). This is not EVGA/SLI problem, just a common problem people with older motherboards may experience.

Pros: The one core that does work is better than my old card

Cons: Apparently having a non sli board means you won't be able to use both gpu cores even though that should be enabled by the 2 in 1 gpu. Paying 169.99 for the performance of a single gtx 460 is a ripoff, and having to pay around 50 dollars to send the thing back does not make anything better.

Other Thoughts: Even with experiences like mine where certain non sli motherboards are needed, the packaging is misleading and doesn't say anything about needing an sli motherboard

Pros: -Fantastic output. With SLI enabled I got Ultra high/Extreme on Mass effect/Fallout 3/Starcraft 2/Arma2(Well, DayZ) with 60 fps(v-sync enabled) without getting too hot/eating the case. Though to be fair, I do have 6 case fans
-Good price to power ratio, for what I spent(170 on shell shocker) I could get a gtx 560, and that pales in comparison to this

Cons: Well, it was defective. Had problems getting output on the first boot that I through process of elimination and having a second card to test, figured out was this card. Currently RMA'ing with EVGA, as I had sent in the rebate already and thus didn't have the upc. We'll see how EVGA RMA turns out
-It's long. very very long. Which means mid towers up are the only way you're going to use this
-PCB sagging. I'm sure it's due to my inexperience, but I didn't realize how much a card this long would sag. I'm not sure if it will actually damage the card, but it's disconcerting. I used a series of wood and duct tape to secure it against a 3.5" mount, but be warned that this will sag.

Pros: Card has great specs for single monitor gaming.

Cons: VERY long card. I have a Thermaltake ArmorMX case, and had to remove the HD bay to fit the card in.

Looks like either really bad luck that both cards failed, or there is a compatibility issue when using an ASUS P8Z77-V PRO/THUNDERBOLT MB.

Other Thoughts: MB detects the card and properly disables iGPU, but nothing appears on display. Worked with EVGA support, determined card might be bad, and cross-shipped RMA. Second card failed to work, with same symptoms as the first. Was told the problem must be: 1.) PS, 2.) bent CPU pin, 3.) MB.

1 - Currently using OCZ 1250W PS, but tried a couple other 750W PSs. Didn't fix issue.

2- checked CPU, everything looks great. Comp powers up and games fine with iGPU (3570k), so I really doubt it's a pin.

3- Contacted ASUS, and they said that if the GPU properly conforms to PCIE2.0 specs, it should work fine. I've tried a couple other single GPU cards, and MB works fine.

Thought I was getting a great ShellShocker deal, and instead ended up with an expensive paperweight.

Pros: Great performance; been playing the witcher 2, crysis 2, and metro 2033, all basically maxed at 1920x1200, with vsync at 60 with no stutters or drops, and thats with an old intel core 2 quad bottlenecking. Runs at totally acceptable temps, ~60C if the fans are set at 65% in my old, air antec 900 case after 1-2 hours of gaming.

Cons: Frustrating hardware issues; 80% of the time, it takes multiple restarts, up to 4 or 5, to get anything to display from "card A's" hmdi or DVI outputs (the driver software and windows read this as two physical cards, with two of the four outputs dedicated to each "card"/core). Using "card B's" outputs, video displays consistently (ie no restarts), but then it never reads "card A," so it only works as a single 460 with no SLI option or performance. Tried all different cables and outputs, and used anywhere from 1 to 3 physical displays, all powered prior to booting. Never could get more than 2 working at once.

Other Thoughts: Perhaps my issues are an isolated case, but its very frustrating, and would prefer to not reboot my system over and over. But, again, once its up and working in SLI, this thing runs solid. No freezes or heat issues, and not annoyingly loud, even with fans up. overclocks to 800 cores fine and stable, though i choose not to. This card replaces two 260gtx's w/ 216 cores in SLI.

Pros: I have had zero problems with this card so far. I managed to snag it at 170 AR during a shell shocker so it was a no brainer for me. It has been years since I've upgraded my card (7950GT) and this card absolutely smashes my old card in terms of performance and features.

I decided to benchmark my old card against this one in 3dMark05 since my 7950 didn't support dx10. The resolution was 1280x1024. My 7950 got a score of 6,600 and the 2win got 26,000!

My brother has two 460's in SLI and he benchmarked his setup and then popped in the 2win. The benchmark was done in 3dMark Vantage at 1080p resolution. His two 460's came in at 15,871 and the single 2win came in at 15,587. So in terms of real world performance the difference would be negligible. This card truly performs like two 460's in SLI but has the advantage of only taking up one slot.

Cons: As others have mentioned, this card is huge. It isn't any wider than a standard video card but it's much longer. The card itself extends into my drive cage about 1/2" and I ended up having to slightly bend the cage bay so that I could connect the two 8 pin power connectors.

Also, SLI is not supported with this card even though the SLI connector is present. This is kind of a shame as it would make a sick setup but not enough to knock an egg as anyone who researches the card will see EVGA wasn't hiding this fact.

Other Thoughts: Based on earlier reviews I was slightly apprehensive on purchasing this card due to some real negative reviews. I don't know if they truly had problems due to the card and I just got lucky or what but after getting this all set up with my current build I couldn't be happier.

If you're looking for the power of two 460's but only have 1 slot then this card will work for you. If you do have 2 slots then it's just a matter of which is cheaper at the moment.
